May 29,2024Stephen from Premitel talked me through setting up three VoIP phones which were not supplied by them to use their network. When one of the configurations got corrupted a couple of months later they helped me find what was wrong and correct it. Their knowledge is extensive.

May 28,2024Steven killen at Premitel showed utmost patience with my ineptitude connecting onto premitel with my Starlink Wi-Fi , many e mails and calls whilst he patiently talked me through the process of connection and finally the joy of a £7.00 monthly bill instead of BTs 140.00 pm

Oct 19,2023I upgraded my broadband from 30Mb/s FTTC to 500 Mb/s FTTP, but my new ISP didn't offer a VOIP phone service to replace my old ISP's landline phone offering. After some research online, I came across Premitel. They offer a VOIP phone service for a rolling monthly fee of just £5 for 200 call minutes to 01, 02, 03 and 07 numbers (other packages are available if you need more inclusive calls). As well as their service, you either need to invest in new VOIP phones or you can buy an Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) that connects to your existing phones and allows them to work with a VOIP line. From an initial email to confirm that Premitel's service would provide what I thought it would, to many emails over a few days to help me to try to get a cheap ATA configured to work with Premitel's service, the customer support provided by Premitel's Stephen Killen has been outstanding. He responded multiple times with the values I needed to input into my ATA's interface to configure it to work with Premitel's service. He even dug out an old ATA like mine (discontinued by the manufacturer years ago) so that he could provide screenshots of its interface with the fields to be updated highlighted for me, and responded late in the evening when I was struggling to get my cheap eBay sourced ATA to work with their service. Outstanding! Top Tip - don't waste your time and money on a cheap ATA from eBay. Premitel offer an ATA that they've preconfigured with the settings required for it to work with their service out of the box. However, if you do try a cheaper option and need any help and advice to get your Premitel service working, you can be sure Premitel will be quick to help (especially if you are fortunate to have your support provided by Stephen Killen. Highly recommended!
