A home warranty is a service contract that covers the repair or replacement of regularly used home appliances and systems that may potentially break down over time. How it works? In the event of an appliance failure or system breakdown, a claim submission online or via the phone is all you need to do! A trained professional will be dispatched to your home and will assess the issue by repairing or replacing what is necessary to remedy the problem. You pay a small service fee, and that is it. All other expenses are on us.
I’ve used priority home warranty multiples times now for claims and they are honestly always on the ball. I Usually will have a tech out to me within the next day and all the times I have used them the tech was able to get the repairs done on site. One of my claims was for a replacement on my dishwasher and I was able to choose the unit I wanted as opposed to some other experiences I’ve had in the past with other companies. The customer service is also very professional and there entire team and call centers are extremely professional and polite. I definitely recommend using this company as I’ve had others in the past and can honestly say I found the right one this time and will be sticking with them for a while. ( I’ve also made sure to use them multiple times before submitting a review )
Mark was very helpful with explaining the program to me. I had bad luck with other companies.
Despite the typical and expected sales pitch, the account/salesperson was patient and helpful. Somewhat inconsistent in identifying future cost increases but ultimately, I was able to gain the information and guarantees I was looking for. Plan offerings appear to be very similar to other plans described by competitors. Looking for the difference to be service and process turn around. That still needs to be assessed. Overall a positive experience once we got by the usual sales pitch and company hype.

Good coverage, easy to deal with, didn’t try to upsell on things I didn’t need or want. Recommended
TEMPORARY REVIEW! Mark at priority Home Warranty did a good job of selling and explaining their warranty. I hope I really can easily and without penalty cancel should I ever need to. I went to them because American Shield Warranty treated me so dishonorably. American Shield Warranty did this: My dishwasher would not empty the used dishwater and that caused the dishwasher door to leak. I filed a claim and the Sears (A & E) Service Technician came out to see what was wrong. He inspected the machine, ordered the parts and instructed me to move the dishwasher out from underneath the cabinet so he could work on the machine and repair it when the parts came in. With assistance, I moved the dishwasher out when the parts arrived, the technician came back to repair it. After replacing the parts, the dishwasher had the same problem as before. The technician ordered more parts and lefte with a broken dishwasher and a $100 Service Charge. A&E closed the account and American Shield refused to pay ANY money, saying that moving the dishwasher made it a pre-existing condition even yhou their technician told me to move it and it was not moved until after he inspected it. What a waste of $72 a month
My sales Rep. Mark was very kind and helpful to me. He went above and beyound to help save me money.
Home warranty warning! Priority Home Warranty seems like a good company, but their business model is very deceptive. They tell you everything is covert with no problem, but that’s not totally true for older equipment or parts of equipment that has been repaired after a home inspection. If a part of a unit is faulty it all becomes faulty, and they will not cover the repair but give you money towards the repair My repairs was $1,700.00 and they would give me $150.00 for the repair, this is not why I got insurance. Another problem is the fee. My policy started on 01/03/22 and I call for service on 01/04/22 on 01/05/22 they ask for my home inspection, on 01/08/22 they tell me I am not covered. On 01/11/22 I find a company that will cover my older equipment and cancel the policy, the charges from this nonservice were as follows: $50.00 cancelation fee, $60.00 service man fee even though no service man came out, and a $53.00 pro rate (which is a month and not 10 Days that I use the service). In short you can buy this policy $640.00 and use it for 10 day then ask for service and they can tell you go suck an egg and you will owe them $163.00. But if you have utilities that have a two or more-year warranty, they would love to have you. For these reasons I will tell everyone “DO NOT TO USE (Priority Home Warranty) it is not worth the money” Priority Home Warranty (Update) After posting the above review, Sean Miller from PHW call to apologize and go over what went wrong with the service. We talked about the inaccuracy of their website because they had my date of service as 04/01/22 (which is a month in the future); fees for services not rendered (technician visits); Not following up on parts vendors to obtain better pricing when costumers have to purchase parts; and came short of talking about not being able to take credit card information off their web site; false promises made by their sales staff on what is and what is not covered by your contract. Shawn could see the confusion and inconvenience I experience and offered to give me a 100% refund in three days’ Plus $50.00 toward the parts I have purchased, this was on February 8, 2022, 5:30pm. Within a week he did as he had promised, which made me feel a little better about the company’s potential and the protection of their name. I hope that Priority Home Warranty reviews this conversation and work on bring an economic and high-quality product to its consumers and stop given incentives like; more days covered, lower service fees and negative things the competition is doing, when they are doing the same thing. All these carrots in exchange for positive reviews before you experience their services. This may cause people to wonder how they got such high reviews. I believe this company could be better than this perception. Only time will tell, here’s to hoping!
Worked with priority, they paid on time for the job and the approval process was a lot more simple than other companies. Looking forward to accepting more jobs in the future
I do NOT under any circumstances, recommend this company. At all. For any reason. After submitting a claim for a broken heater on a Saturday, I was told I’d get a call within 24 hours. The call never came. I called customer service who told me the person I needed to speak with would “call me back at their convenience” when I mentioned that I had not gotten a call within 24 hours, as stated in the contract, she told me I should “mention that to” the person that calls me back. I received a call on Monday (after filing the claim Saturday) and was told nobody could come out until the next day. I couldn’t wait because we had no heat for almost 2 days and called an HVAC tech. After the diagnosis of needing an inducer fan, I was told by priority that “it takes 10 days for an inducer fan to go out (HUH!?!?)and that would have been in your 30 day waiting period”. They called the motor breaking preexisting because the said it would have been in the process of going out which makes zero sense. So I would not recommend this company because I paid over $800 out of pocket. Now I see why nobody I know uses a home warranty. There is no point. EDIT: A rep reached out to me, Sean, and eased my mind about Priority a bit. They are sending $200 to help with the cost of the motor and waving my next service call fee. I still do not have the research given to me that states that it takes ten days for a motor to begin to fail though. I also found out other caveats, such as rust, that will cause a claim to be denied. Rust I understand, since it takes time to rust. I still do not understand or agree that a motor begins breaking down in ten days but I will get to the bottom of that on my own. I am upping the star rating to two just because I feel Sean is really trying to do right by us.
I manage multiple properties across several states and have had policies with several companies, yet none have stood out like Priority has. Neither myself or my clients have had any issues with customer service, my clients and myself have a dedicated team so we don't get "bounced around" from rep to rep. I will soon be moving all of the properties I manage over from these other "warranty providers" as Priority Home Warranty's competitors are really not even competition. 10/10 recommend
My water heater suddenly stopped working last week in the morning & having 3 kids my morning came to a screeching halt. My wife decided to get a policy with Priority & she made the call. I can say I am thoroughly pleased as in less than 24 hours my family & I were able to take warm showers. The plumbers were courteous, did not leave any trace that they were even in my home. I am definitely glad I listened to my wife lol. Thank you guys again!!
I just canceled my service one month after I bought it. They have pretty good sales team to trick you to buy their service and claim they are a 24/7 company. I bought homewarranty for two rentals at the same time. One house have a GE washer break down, after technician inspect the washer, they said it's due to abuse, what the hell, how can you abuse a washer? it's a two year old GE washer. The declined my claim. Another house had a water heater issue, they said they wont know when the technician gonna come till 5 days later. It seems this company doesn't have a lot service people available and always trying to find excuses. I would stay way from them.
Christina helped me out, I had a failed payment on my plan, she gave me additional time to pay my monthly premium and allowed me to place a claim as well. Thank you priority, your The customer service was top notch!
Great service!
Marcus Allen did a good job explaining everything and he made every effort to make sure I got the best deal possible.
Sean was Awesome! I had an issue with my HVAC unit, I filed a claim and within 24 hours they had someone come out. Would highly recommend!
Leo was great with assisting me with my air conditioning! Thank you Leo you guys are amazing!
Placed my first claim on Monday. Priority had a technician assigned the same day and had my washer replaced. The unit arrived today and they even got someone to help with disposing my older unit! Such an upgrade from my last home warranty provider

Jun 21,2022Marcus Allen was very helpful. He explained things clearly and did not pressure me when I said I wanted to check the company and coverages out before I committed. He has been responsive and helpful via text since then. A very good customer service person.
