I've had several cases from Proporta over the years and have only ever had a good experience. They're not the cheapest on the market but you get what you pay for in both quality and service. Only ever had issues with one case which started to fall apart within a couple of weeks but when I contacted them they replaced it without question and the replacement was perfect (still going strong 2 years on!). Nothing bad to say about them, highly recommended.

Love these cases. Had several Ted Baker cases from Proporta. The mirror idea is awesome and very useful! And they are so pretty! Local company to me too.

Be very careful when buying from this company. They don't have free returns so returning products you are unhappy with will cost you. I bought a phone case from them, via Amazon, for £90 (incl VAT) thinking I could return it if it wasn't worth the money. It wasn't and to make matters worse the invoice sent with the case was for £75 (incl VAT). The charge to me was £90. Its not worth it sending it back as it will be costly to pay postage and insurance. Not to be trusted.

I ordered two Ted Baker iPhone cases yesterday at a great price and they have just landed on the doormat. I was kept informed of dispatch and suggested delivery date by email - they have in fact arrived a day early. Fantastic service from start to finish. A very happy customer.

Very impressed with prompt refund of previous order. Ordered a Ted Baker case with a significant Black Friday discount - opted for free postage. Item arrived within 2 days. One very happy customer.

avoid this company at all costs. i paid £50 for an iphone case from them, it felll apart within a week. i contacted them and asked for a refund. they made me jump through so many hoops. eventually they agreed if i posted it to them and it was received within two working days they’d refund me. i posted it, they denied receiving it and i haven’t had a penny back from them. they have ignored my emails since.

I was expecting my iphone towards the end of September so ordered a Proporta case and screen protector on the 22nd. It was shipped on the 24th to apparently arrive by the 27th. I contacted Proporta late on that day as it hadn't been delivered and I was going away for a few days. I was assured it was on its way but was also offered a refund and asked if alternatively I wanted it to be sent to the address where I was going to. (Not sure how? since it was on its way?) This evening, 2nd Oct, it still hasn't arrived and my phone has been coverless for a week now, scarily. Anyway I rang Proporta and was told that it must be with the Post Office and I should go and see them !!! I didn't get the chance to ask what that would achieve. Not good customer service. To be fair he immediately told me he was giving me a refund, but just as I was asking if would they send another out to me. He then said it was too late to do that, he had processed the refund, and I must go back to the website and reorder. I'm not now inclined to do that. The case I ordered seemed to tick a lot of my boxes but I have been totally put off this company now. I have to say I rarely feel the need to complain about anything but I decided to buy British partly because I prefer to support home grown businesses, I also naively expected good service. Disappointed Update...... I received a very nice apology after posting a negative review on Facebook, with the offer of a free gift. By the way, today (a week later than informed) my case and screen protector have arrived. The original complaint was not really regarding the wait, more the attitude of the last person I spoke to. But.. it’s very heartening when a company takes notice of this and bothers to reply and try to make amends.

Have used them for a few items and found them to be very helpful and efficient. Purchased an aluminum lined Iphone6 case . the other day left it onmy car and drove off with predictable results! the phone was found in the middle of the road having been run over and was undamaged. The case had done its job fantastically both from the road impact which must have been at 30mph plus and then having been run over! I therefore cant recommend this case enough. I contacted customer service with my story and they were very helpful and even sent me a glass protector with my new case!! Top quality backed by solid customer service - big tick. PS this was the UK site

Used numerous proporta products over the years and they were all fantastic, however the best thing about this business is that they really are a quality small business with great principles and their customers best interests at their heart. Amazing Customer service, treat people well and offer good vale, can't ask for much more than that!

I bought a Barbour Julie Dodsworth iPad Air case from Proporta on the 20th of May 2015. On the 24th of July 2015 I emailed to complain about the numerous faults on this iPad case. They included two snapped off broken corners on the plastic after roughly one month of light usage, the case also has multiple splinter-line cracks on each of the broken corners and also on the two non broken corners. I only use my iPad on a bed with a thick quilt cover over the mattress and I am bed bound due to multiple disabilities thus it does not ever get moved from the soft bed so no breakages are due to personal negligence just due to being an unsatisfactory and poorly made product. The magnetic clasp is covered in a fabric that peeled off after one week of use thus this now has no covering. Then the floral fabric on the cases cover has turned white and rubbed off the floral patterning in one of its corners after one month of light usage. I thought this was truly awful for a Barbour product and thus wrote an extensive email to the company informing them of every fault and telling them that I still had 10 months left on my year warranty. They replied saying that my only option was to return the product and as they had no Barbour Julie Dodsworth iPad cases left I would have to choose one of a similar value but they do not offer any iPad Air cases over £9.99. I paid £36.86 thus I would be losing over £26. If I wanted a refund then I would have had to return the item within 30 days of receiving the product otherwise I could not get my money back, as they only offer a return after this period and as most of the faults happened at the one month mark a refund was not an option for me. This is unacceptable, I should not have to lose so much money on a product if I chose to return it to Proporta due to the case having multiple faults and issues that are due to poor quality and design and are no fault of my own. Thus I did not take their offer of losing over £26 and gaining one £9.99 iPad case, as they could of offered me three of their £9.99 cases and still owe me £6.86. This is truly awful customer service and I shall never dream of using this company in future.
