Dec 08,2024At this point, Reading Glass would not even rate one star from me. In August of 2023 I was contacted by Reading Glass to have my book (Reclaiming the Bible: Reading it for Yourself) in their then 2 stores in New Jersey. I agreed, signed a contract, paid them $399, and sent 20 copies of my book (at my expense). For the time of the contract (6 months to have my book on their shelves for sale) they were in good contact with me, Tina Sparks did a great job of reaching out to me. I never received a check for sold books even though I was told that a few had sold. I never received any quarterly reports. I received nothing. I reached out by various means seeking answers only to be told "they would get back with me." Here we are, December 2024 and all I have are empty words. I hate to have to be so negative about any business let alone a veteran owned one but so far they have not fulfilled their contract with me, just taken my money and my books and left me high and dry. Let me put an addendum on my review. They have reached out to me and have are trying to work things out to a more equitable position, so I applaud them for this. Feeling a bit better about them.

Dec 07,2024I got my book published at a fair price. The customer service was awesome, and the royalties were better than the competition. Tracy and Lora were always available to answer questions and keep me updated. This company is the 'real deal'.

Dec 06,2024I was called early in the morning . I listened to the entire speech. When they gave me prices they were very high. I informed them I couldn’t at this time. Then I received a horrible text saying good riddance and that I am going to be stuck with no progress and they have plenty of other authors and do t need me. Then I asked for referrals and said I saw an article about them in an author review. They went into this whole text that the person was a snake and didn’t know what she is taking about. I think I don’t trust them and my first impression has not been good.

Dec 05,2024I regret not being informed that there would be additional fees. I purchased this in good faith. If I had not been mislead concerning the total cost I would Not have joined. I do not have the funds to continue with this cost. Be aware. I should have listened to my gut!

Nov 23,2024Very disappointed in this book store. They mostly sell self published and religious books. They have some manga, but in the original Japanese, not English translations. Was so looking forward to having a book store in our mall, but this one is a bust.
