Nov 23,2024After being let down by another gas engineer for my annual boiler service I contacted Mark after he was recommended through a business associate. He contacted me the following morning and managed to fit me in with an appointment a few days later. On the the day he called when he was on his way and arrived on time, was extremely tidy and fully explained the work being carried out, setting my mind at ease that the boiler would see us through another winter. I found his prices very reasonable and will definately be using his company in the future and recommending to him anyone else I know looking for a reliable and dependable plumbing and heating engineer.

May 16,2023I unreservedly and wholeheartedly recommend Resolve Heating, Plumbing and Gas Services Ltd. They quickly and accurately diagnosed why my combi boiler (Ideal Logic + 30, 8 years old, expired heat exchanger, uneconomic to repair) was constantly losing pressure, needing new water daily to re-pressurise and keep the central heating working, as well as failing to produce hot water on demand. They also confirmed the result of a pressure test (“trace and access”, check your insurance) carried out by another firm which concluded there were no leaks in the central heating pipework/radiators and so the boiler must be faulty. Sounds straightforward but had I followed the advice of another heating engineer I’d have had my floors up to visually inspect that same pipework, so I’ve saved thousands avoided major household disruption. Resolve turned up on time, explained the work, supplied and fitted my new boiler, took the old one away and cleared up. No mess, no fuss, no bother. They kept in touch beforehand and stayed in touch afterwards. Their price was very reasonable indeed. Leave the tyre-kicking, head-shaking and empty promises to other firms. Resolve are how things should be. Bethany, Mark and Dale are reliable and trustworthy.

Oct 05,2022Servicing the boiler and the gas fire was carried out promptly and with obvious expertise. The apparent cracking in the base of the fire was explained. The engineer was considerate and friendly and my concern at not having my previous, long term company disappeared.

Apr 14,2022Needed a combi boiler change over, wasn't looking forward to getting different quotes, and everything else that goes with it. A friend recommended Resolve. Got a house visit from Mark, talked over the work that Needed carried out, made things sound so straight forward on the boiler change over. Totally reassured me we had the rite company to carry out the work. And Mark never let us down. Turned up on the correct time and day, done a great job on the boiler change over. Cleaned up the job at the end of the day, Mark even went out his way to pick up material for the kitchen, that had nothing to with his work. And also done some additional work with no extra cost. Would highly recommend Resolve Heating Plumbing And Gas services .very efficient.

They deal well with emergencies, arriving promptly to handle issues like leaks and boiler installations. The clear quotes and regular updates are a plus, although minor follow-up issues can occur. Communication could be improved, as sometimes it’s tough to get a response. Overall, a reliable choice but with some room for improvement, hence a balanced three-star rating.
