Dec 09,2024The battery on the Toughbook I bought is bad so I called support, but nobody was available. Took them 5 hours, but they eventually called me back. I was told we needed to calibrate the battery and they were supposed to email me instructions, but they did not. So I guess ill start this process all over again. When you buy something this expensive I don't think you should have to go through this nonsense. They should have just shipped me a new battery instead of turning this into a week long fiasco.

Nov 17,2024I ordered a refurbished Getac K120 from Rugged Books and was shocked by how quickly it arrived via DHL. Shipped from Rugged Books in Canada on the 12th November and it was delivered to my door (UK) on the 14th November, 2 days later. The device looks and works like it's brand new - not a single scratch or defect on it. I've been using the device for a good few days now and not a single complaint. It arrived with a US QWERTY keyboard (which was expected) and a North American Type B plug but it connects to a standard 3-pin you'd find on any laptop AC power supply. I plugged in a UK cable and it works perfectly fine (don't forget to double and triple check your voltages).

When one had to be returned for a wireless card upgrade I was sent a return label and shipped it back. The turn around once received was same day and it was on it way back. Will purchase from again!

Sep 03,2024Much faster delivery than expected, but laptop is missing a few screws. Nothing major, somewhat expected from a refurbished model, but for 5 stars I'd expect ALL the screws to be present, not just the strictly necessary ones.
