Dec 02,2024Advertises that they make "instant payments" for your car. Bloke came and took my car and ripped the front bumper off whilst loading it up. I rang the company and asked when my payment will go through for scrapping my car. "24 hours" came the reply I then said you advertise instant payments on your website though? which I was told "that's not how it works. So I asked if I could come and buy one of their cars and take it away but not pay for 24 hours? Same reply "that's not how it works Sir" Then why are you advertising instant payments? They Put the phone down. I'm now going to go and recover my car from their yard as the logbook hasn't been transferred and they've caused a lot of damage to my car. Ridiculous behaviour and clearly false advertising on the website. I wouldn't have used them if the payment was going to take 24 hours

Sep 19,2024In the website said that they would colectbin the same day so a bit after 9am i dis a quote and it was said that they would call me in 3 or 4 hours. After 3 hours i called them to find oit when they will colect the car. They said that i was asigned to a driver and that drivr would call me with a date and hour to colect. So first it was on the same day and then they would call to decide the dayband hour. I imediatly called oit the service . Bunch of liars

Sep 04,2024I booked a car collection with this company twice, and on both occasions, the driver failed to show up. The lack of reliability is shocking. When I contacted customer service, it was clear that the staff had no clue about the driver's whereabouts or whether he had even attended the collection. The communication between the team and the drivers seems nonexistent. There are plenty of other companies out there that offer competitive prices with far better customer service. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this company. It's been a disgraceful experience from start to finish.

Aug 06,2024I would prefer to give no stars for this company’s service because there was no service. On Thursday I accepted a quote from them. I noted on the website we would receive a call within 3 - 4 hours, which never came so I rang them but only got through to answerphone where I left a message. I received a call from them next morning (Friday) and was told the driver would be in touch that day with a collection time. I asked if it would be that day and I was told it would be unlikely. Late that afternoon I had an another call to say a driver would be collecting my car the next day (Saturday) between 2 and 4 pm and he would be in touch 30-40 mins before he was due. I was also given the driver’s number. I heard nothing by 4 pm so I rang the driver a couple of times but his phone was switched off. I rang the office (which was closed) and left a message to ask them to ring me as soon as possible. By about 1 pm Monday, having heard nothing, I called them yet again. The person in the office said she wasn’t aware it hadn’t been collected! My experience was nothing like what was advertised on the website. Needless to say I contacted another company that took the car away within a few hours.

Jul 06,2024What can I say, I’m glad businesses don’t do reviews on clients 🤣 despite my mess up with contact info, we still managed to get quote, Arrange collection, finalise the details for payment, have been informed payment will be with me tomorrow as I missed the same day payment deadline all within 24 hour. Extremely friendly all round admin team and drivers, very prompt and will adhere to make the transaction as stress free as possible. Many many many thanks scrap my car team this former British soldier can’t express my appreciation for my experience. And anyone requires your services and I hear it even if I don’t know them I will definitely spread the word. I wasn’t expecting the price I got for my insignia extremely pleased all the best

Mar 03,2025Went online and got a quote, received an email asking for photos, sent them, the guy Alistair then asked if we had other quotes, I replied saying that his was the first one we contacted after several text messages between us, he said he would call to arrange collection we said fine, never heard from them again, on the plus side, contacted another company (Redcorn), who quoted over £100 more, they came the next day and collected the car and the money as in the account 24hr later as promised. (This is normal practice now as by law they are not allowed to pay cash and have to confirm you are the legal owner, to the people who complain about the 24hr wait)
