Sep 02,2015Although the belts are only freshly installed and certainly untested beyond a cursory confirmation that the retractors retract and the buckles buckle, I feel confident I made the right choice. I am always careful to research for the best most trusted product when building my "own personal" cars. When safety is involved (as in seat belts), I simply cannot trust my families security with a bargain priced product from a distant land produced with little to no serious focus on quality and built with no regulatory oversite ..... by "quality" I mean engineered with the correct materials to perform as intended. Simply put, these belts were very affordable and seem to be exactly as advertised.

Sep 02,2015I tried to make a straight-forward first-time seat belt order, but was told it wasn't honored...twice. Not only was I told by their guy that both of my constantly-used and honored credit cards I submitted in a row were "refused by their bank" because the guy said that the address that I had given for each of the cards was not the right one for them (but they absolutely were). I've never had that happen with any of my countless other online product orders. I then had to wait for days for any return email communication from them about this issue, so I finally called them and was rudely and arrogantly dealt with. Their guy essentially said they couldn't be wrong...so it had to be me for sure who made the mistake. I then had had it and said I didn't have time for the hassle and the attitude, so I simply canceled my order and bought from another company. Then I discovered that my credit card had in fact been charged after for the order after all, so I had to wait for a refund. I gave them a chance to make and gain a new happy customer, but they blew it and lost me by the arrogant attitude and their incompetence.

Sep 02,2015I would say from a functional standpoint, I am pretty pleased with the seat belts I ordered. I added them to a 1978 Scout II to replace the factory lap belts. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that the buckle does not easily slide along the belt. Makes adjusting it when putting the belt on and taking the belt off (so it will fully retract) a necessity.
