Nov 18,2019Shofur was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. If I could give these guys ZERO STARS I would. We hired 3 buses for our wedding. We had guests at 2 different hotels and wanted to ensure we had a third bus for an early departure time. The buses showed up ONE HOUR LATE to the hotels and then proceeded to get lost on the way to the venue. In addition, the company gave us incorrect contact info for all three drivers so we were unable to communicate with them. (Also, good luck getting in touch with this company over the phone if you don't have at least 30 mins to sit on hold). After the buses dropped off the guests an HOUR LATE, one of the buses proceeded to WRECK into a tree on the property and had to be towed away during our wedding. Because the buses arrive so late, the early departure bus ended up leaving later than initially scheduled and therefore did not make it back for the end of the night. So... only one bus out of three was there at then end of the night. The driver proceeded to get lost on the way back to the hotels again and then was extremely rude to my Dad when he tried to help them navigate. Aside from that, the buses were old and trashy and couldn't make it up the hill to the venue without THREE tries. HORRIBLE COMPANY WHO ROBBED US OF A PRECIOUS HOUR WE WILL NEVER GET BACK. Our family photos ended up being in the dark because of them, cocktail hour had to be cut short and my husband and I did not get our sunset pictures.

Oct 15,2019Avoid this company. They are unorganized and horrible at communicating. We needed 4 buses arriving at 9am. 2 of them were late. None of the given phone numbers for the bus drivers were valid phone numbers. They all had been told the wrong address so if I wouldn't have confirmed on the morning of, who knows where they would have taken us. Overall horrible and stressful experience.

Oct 24,2018I reserved a bus for 36 people for a corporate event. The reservation process was simple and straightforward. A week before the event, I realized that we were going to need a bus that could accommodate 40 people. I called Shofur and spoke to our dedicated account representative and ask what I could do to make sure I had a bus that was big enough. I was prepared to pay extra, change the reservations, or whatever needed to be done. I was told by Shofur that fortunately, we were already assigned a 40 passenger bus so nothing needed to be done. It was only on the night of the event when I tried to fit my employees on the bus that we realized that the bus that arrived would only hold 36 people. The bus driver was very apologetic and said that the 40 person bus that was scheduled to come had engine problems and at the last minute was switched to a 36 seat bus. I scrambled to find transportation for several people, which defeated the whole purpose of our team building event. Shofur has been absolutely unhelpful and unapologetic after I brought this to their attention. Their canned response is “well you agreed to the terms and agreement”. They do not care that it was their representative that told me I didn’t need to do anything. I had done my part to make the change to the reservation but Shofur will not honor it. I received several promises that a manager would contact me back but as of yet, I still have nothing other than it is my fault and I should have gotten something in writing. It is disappointing to say the least.

Nov 30,2017THIS COMPANY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE DURING HURRICANE HARVEY RELIEF. WE HAD SCHEDULED A BUS TO PICK UP HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS AT THE AUSTIN AIRPORT TO TAKE TO HOUSTON. THE FLIGHTS GOT CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER. THE RESERVATIONS WERE ONLY A COUPLE HOURS OLD, AND THE COMAPNY STILL CHARGED US OVER $8000, THEY PROVIDED NO SERVICE. WHAT A SHAME THIS COMPANY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF PEOLE DURING A CRISES

Sep 07,2017Shofur bus co. was a great bus company! I have used Shofur for many of my occasions more than once for long trips. A friend travels on roadtrips on group tours all the time and was afraid of not having enough space, I advised for her to use Shofur Bus. She enjoyed her trip with Shofur, the people in her group tour claimed that they had a nice time as well. I would like to send a proud two thumbs up to Shofur Bus Co. for a job well done as usual!

Jul 06,2017Would like to thank you so much! Shofur gets 5 out of 5 stars! I never heard of them before but they were exceptional in getting us buses last minute. They saved our group and as a result saved us so much headaches. Spoke to Alexander and he was super professional and courteous when I called him. He answered every question that I and kept us happy customers. Although I know that they serve other markets besides San Francisco, LA and the rest of Cali I would use them anywhere!

May 08,2017Shofur is the best company for bus rentals! Yeah there are a lot of companies to call, but are they all available 24/7 in almost every city in the US? I think Shofur is the only one! Our company has gotten quotes from them in LA & NYC. No matter what time we called they they picked up the phone. They accommodate all our requests and are flexible Special thanks to Patrick & Tony for working so hard to help us get the buses lat minute. Our Airline will use them for a while. Thank you! GREAT JOB!

May 08,2017DO NOT BOOK, was a skeptic about the negative reviews but encountered a bad experience just like all the other negative reviews warned. FIRST of all, they don't own their buses so they're over priced, I'm sure they have a few in their base of operation in Atlanta, GA to not get in trouble for false claims and get around the question that all bus rental guides tell people who are interested in renting charter buses to ask: Do You Own Your Buses?, but for the most part if you go with them they are going to contact the charter companies around you locally, book them for you, and charge you a large middleman fee. Secondly, it was shady customer service all around, first gave me a high quote and lowered price dramatically when I wasn't going to use them and said he could drop the reservation fees?, wanted to me to confirm ASAP without providing the details of contract and trip (that's when my gut told me to stop but being naive, I continued), withdrew money from account instantly and beat me to the credit card company to stop payment as I called as soon as I hung up, added hidden fees after they had my deposit as hostage, was no longer responsive and kept giving me the runaround and promised to call back (just like all the other negative reviews said) after I wanted to cancel, I think it was their attempt to get the full amount for penalty because I was on the borderline of time frame allowed to cancel. Did not use them and have not got refund back yet and moving on next phase for legal action. FYI: I went with another company that actually owned its buses, the difference in price was around $950. So if you're a person who has to organize a huge event with thousands of people that require charter buses and price is not an issue, I can see you using companies like Shofur to help you organize your trip but for the most part if you're a person who needs 10 buses or less go with a company that owns its buses.

Dec 28,2016I needed to rent a charter bus last minute after the company I had previously booked with decided to tell me I had no reservation even when I called the DAY BEFORE to verify. It was Christmas Eve and every single place I had called took me straight to voicemail. Luckily Shofur Bus came to the rescue. I called and they were able to have a bus come out in no time! So relieved this company was available in my time of need, will definitely use them agian.

Nov 09,2021We booked Shofur almost a year before our wedding. We booked two busses to pick us up at 3:45 and take us to the venue. At 1:30 the DAY of the wedding, we get a call that only one bus was coming and there was nothing they could do about it. They delivered this message with zero empathy or understanding for what they were doing to us. To make things worse, the one bus that showed up was 30 minutes late, leading us to miss a good portion of the reception time we'd paid for. Additionally, the bus driver didn't know where we were going AND the bus was a total mess since they had just picked up a construction crew. Nicole Smith is now be shockingly rude to us with zero empathy...but they aren't making us pay for the bus we didn't get, how nice!
