very quick easy service from Deborah Blood
We have used a few document shredding companies in the past. I saw one of the shred it lorries locally and called them. Instant response from a human being and we agreed a price and date. We paid in advance and were sent a number of bags to put papers in. The driver who turned up last Thursday was super helpful and cheerful...always a plus. Even had a mail from the sales director prior to the pick up. Great service .

Communication was the big issue. The boxes of paper were to be picked from a company that had been storing them for our company and it was 40 minutes away. This was explained to the first person who took the order that the company warehouse would not be manned until 9am. The first person said that the pick up would be 8am and if we did not take that it would be another 4 week before another time. He advised to phone in the morning to see what time the driver would be there. I pleaded with the director to get a person to the warehouse for 8.30am. I received two confirmation by email from two different people one advised the pick would start at 8am - 12 and the other 8.30am-12. So I phoned 2 minutes past 8am but the office didn't open until 8.30 - by the way you advertise a 24 hour service. I phoned 8.32 and was told our driver was on his way to the warehouse as we were the first pickup. We rushed there, no driver. I phoned three times more until we got a person from the office that gives the drivers there schedule and he had taken on himself without communicating with the ladies support team office, to look up the opening hours of the warehouse which was 9am -3pm and diverted the driver to two other places so he did not arrive until 10.50am. So all the time we were phoning the support team office, they were telling us he was on his way, he was not. I put the blame solely at the feet of the person in the office of the allocations - does he not like to share information. I commend one of the ladies in the support team office who patiently listened to my ranting as I was so angry and cold. Does your Company think that other people are just as busy?
We opened an account in 2016 and recently needed to reduce the frequency of collections but have been unable to reach a compromise. We are now another victim of the automatic renewal clause in the small print of the agreement, which cannot be terminated before October 2024.
