Great course, learnt a lot and very valuable for site. Matt made the course enjoyable and made me understand topics I struggled with.
Did the setting out course with Matty. Wow a knowledgeable week learnt everything I needed to know about land surveying and what a enjoyable experience.
The training was great. With very detailed theoretical lessons and above all practical work to better understand this theory. The trainer Matt made the subject easy to understand and always made sure to answer all questions asked. We emerge from this training with a lot of new knowledge and ready to take on new challenges in the field. I highly recommend this training because it is very enriching.
I recently completed an amazing surveying course that exceeded all my expectations. This course was not only highly educational but also incredibly engaging, making it a truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The days were comprehensive, covering everything from fundamental surveying principles to advanced techniques and applications. The course was well-structured, with each module building seamlessly on the previous one. This logical progression helped me grasp complex concepts more easily and retain the information better. One of the standout features of this course was the instructor. Their expertise and passion for surveying were evident in every aspect of surveying. They were not only knowledgeable but also excellent at explaining difficult topics in a way that was easy to understand. The instructor’s real-world experience brought a practical perspective to the theoretical knowledge, making the lessons even more relevant and insightful. The hands-on exercises and fieldwork were particularly beneficial. They allowed me to apply what I had learned in a practical setting, reinforcing my understanding and giving me confidence in my skills. The use of modern surveying equipment and software in these exercises was a great addition, providing a realistic experience that I believe will be invaluable in my future career. Another highlight was the supportive learning community. The interaction with fellow students and group projects fostered a collaborative environment that enriched the learning process. Sharing insights and solving problems together made the experience even more rewarding. In conclusion, this surveying course was exceptional in every aspect. It was well-organised , informative, and thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in pursuing a career in surveying or looking to enhance their skills. This course has certainly inspired me and equipped me with the knowledge and confidence to excel in this field.
The training was delivered professionally and very well structured. Unlike some courses, this had an adequate amount of practical training which is very important considering the nature of the subject. The trainer has an extensive knowledge of the subject and was able to answer all my questions.
The Instructor is funny and never rush the teaching progress.
Its the details in the
Matt is highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his stuff. The course is delivered in a simple and lively atmosphere. I really enjoyed the course and would highly recommend it for both new and experienced site Engineers who wish to upskill their knowledge in site surveying and setting Out.
Great experience. Got really good knowledge. Matt was an amazing person and good mentor
Well delivered 👏
Great training course delivered brilliantly by Matt, fully recommend.
Fun and informative course, Matt did a great job of explaining everything from leveling using a dumpy level to setting out using a total station. At first I was apprehensive over the maths however Matt explained it in an easy and understandable way. Thank you for the course!
Matt is a great instructor and the course was very well delivered. A lot of valuable skills are learnt which can be used for the rest of your career. I would recommend to anyone.
Great course covering relevant site engineering techniques.,Well structured providing lots of practical experience using latest instruments from initial survey techniques to the various apps that can be used with the total station.
Completed the setting-out with Matt on the 16th February 2024. I’m a qualified Civil Engineer but wanted to brush up on my skills of robotic total stations due to being out the setting-out industry for a long time. Matt is an excellent teacher and worked through everything with the inexperienced students. Matt certainly covers everything required for setting-out for civil engineering & construction.
I have been an Engineer for 13 years but this training opened up my mind like a recent graduate. The trainer, Matt is a good listener and explains clearly. Would definitely recommend for both experienced and graduate engineers.
Lecturer was friendly and supportive through out the course. He helped to understand the theories and the practical in setting out.
Surveying is a profession that requires a delicate balance between scientific rigor and creative problem-solving .Matt is a great trainer, gives a lot insights related about setting out, levelling principles, traverse calculations, TBM's, Batter Rails, Total station- setups, I really enjoyed the training course. Its a great learning experience, Surveying is the only language through which the land speaks, and only skilled surveyors can understand its whispers.
I had done course training from Matt and its been an year so far I haven't got any job.while I was joining the course matt promised me to get a job,and kept sending mails and texts to join the course even i have referred 3 of my mutual friends to his training in different batches and none of them got job.in the course he hasn't provided any course related guidance documents or instrument guidance documents forfurther references.IF YOUR AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT don't keep any expectations on the course and matt, all he is worried about the reviews.he keeps on chasing to post good reviews you can cross check with the international students who has given 5star reviews for the exact reality, once it's done he is not worried to speak of his promise.but after posting a review he started texting and insisting me to take out the review and threating to file a defamation case against me...
