Oct 27,2023This is something I've wanted to do for so long and having now had laser eye surgery I am delighted it lived up to my hopes! The St James Laser Vision team provide amazing service, the environment is comfortable, the staff are amazing and the checks and conversations in the initial stages were comprehensive and reassuring. By the time I decided to have the surgery I went into it fully informed and prepared. The results are amazing. I always assumed my eyes were rubbish and there would be a limit to what could be achieved but I'm delighted to have been glasses and contact lens free since my surgery in Nov 2022. I have been diligent with my eye drops and had lots of praise during the follow up appointments and my short and long sight is something I never would have imagined. Being able to wear sunglasses, swim, shower, get hair cuts were things I couldn't do or didn't enjoy but that has all changed. It is definitely worth having a conversation with the team and exploring what it possible - you may be surprised!

Oct 26,2023Mr Morrell performed a laser procedure so that I could see without needing glasses for short sightedness. Both he and his team were thorough and kind. I had a really detailed assessment of my eyes and was given a very clear explanation of my options. The team made the experience of having surgery as relaxing as it could be. The aftercare was very impressive. The results are even better than I had hoped. I can see just as clearly as before and am no longer dependant on glasses. I have recommended this service to my friends and colleagues.

The whole team are amazing and I felt in very safe hands as they assessed me and advised waiting until my eyesight had completely stabilised before getting the surgery done. The operation lasted less than a few minutes and by the next day I had better than 20/20 vision. The whole process from the initial assessment to the aftercare has been perfect and I couldn’t be any happier with my results! If you are NHS staff they also offer a 15% discount

Oct 19,2023I was recommended St James Laser vision from a friend, based on her own experience using them. From start to finish my experience was extremely positive. The initial consultation was informative, the staff were professional and welcoming. When it came to my op, I was put at ease by my consultant and trusted her completely. I was told it would take around 2 weeks to see results from my procedure (small incision lenticule extraction) but the next day I already had better than 20/20 vision. It's been just over 6 months since my op and the aftercare has been amazing, anytime I rang with concerns or questions they were happy to help. The skill of the surgeon I had was utterly brilliant and my vision is now perfect. I really recommend St James Laser Vision.
