I am amazed at the reach the platform has in other nations. I only pay a 1000 naira and I earn in foreign currency. I love being a French teacher on superprof.

Jul 29,2023I've been on a platform before, that requests you pay for credit, before you can apply to teach a student who may not even accept. At some point I believed these sites pretend to be students just to extort you as a tutor. It's not so with Superprof and it's very reliable, it's just out to help both the tutors and learners.

Sep 02,2023I am amazed to see that the majority of the reviews are positive, as my experience was a near disaster! It wasn't a total disaster because I have had a good student recommended by Superprof, one I have been teaching for a while now, and I am particularly thankful for that. Consequently, I decided to subscribe for the pro pass on 24/7/2023 with the understanding that I could cancel the subscription at anytime by sending a mail to that effect to howfar@superprof, but that simply wasn't the case as my mails went unreplied (the good old criminal silence). Sensing the risk of recurring debits to my account, I disabled access to my debit card. It was only at the expiration of the pro pass that Superprof reached out to me, informing me of their inability to make a deduction and a seven-day extension period during which I can re-enter credit card details. With such horrible client service, I am now very much a spectator, and unless drastic changes are made and communicated, I will never pay for their services again.
