Needed a new rod and reel. My first purchase from Tackle Direct and they delivered on time and we’re very helpful as I had ordered the wrong rod. Called Tackle Direct first thing the next morning and they corrected my mistake. My trip was a success. No one answers the phones.....ever. Email replies are almost non existent. I have one order pending and have request tracking info twice....and one I tried to call and cancel. Crickets on all methods of communication. Too many other great tackle retailers out there and it's an utter shame, as I enjoy many of their YouTube product videos.

Have used them many times without issue but have had terrible service this month. Not sure if something changed. I ordered some things before my trip (5 days away) with rush shipping and it took over 10 days to ship. I tried to contact them when i returned by email and phone to change the shipping and content of my order but there is no way to contact them in a timely way. I did receive an automated response to my first email with no followup support. The phone system wait times are well over an hr and call backs don't seem to work. The first one never ended in a call back and the 2nd one rang once and then they hung up. Very sad. Updated Note: I did finally get in touch with them and they refunded my rush shipment costs. Hopefully their system is back up and working well

Thank you for stepping up and getting me the rod I ordered in time for my trip. It was great service for you to arrange to have it dropped shipped overnight from the manufacturer after I had left home. It was waiting at my vacation destination when I got there. Once again great customer service. Problems do happen, but you always step up to the plate and do every thing you can to make it right!
