Jan 22,2016We recently purchased the TIF 8800X because we had a problem with sewage smells in a commercial space and the upstairs loft apartment, which we were remodeling for our living quarters. During the renovations we thought that the new work would "fix" whatever was causing the smells. It didn't. We were at our wits end and couldn't seem to get any help from local professionals. We were so frustrated and thought we wouldn't be able to live in the space. Then I found the TIF 8800X gas detector during an online search. It arrived in a couple of days, and led us directly to two walls in the commercial space that we opened up to find uncapped plumbing pipes, covered up before we purchased the property. I called my husband my hero, but actually, the TIF 8800X and Test Equipment Depot are my heroes, too! Thank you!

Jan 26,2016my experience with test equipment depot was okay as far as ordering,shipping and payment,,,,the problem I have is with the soldering tip length,it seems to be half as short as the one I am replacing.The tip works fine but I don't see it lasting as long as my old tip did!
