The Curly Canvas services only curly hair. I have ten years of experience working with curly hair of all kinds, in New York City, at the Devachan salon. I'm a Devacurl level 3 certified master stylist, which means I completed the highest level of curl expertise.
I'm looking to work with any curly haired clients that want to deepen their knowledge of curl pattern care, product knowledge and application, and how to use products with purpose. Or if you just want to have a new curly style. I am available to anyone who needs care, inspiration, knowledge, and experience to make your curls reach their fullest potential.

Feb 12,2025The cut was not what I asked for and left my ends looking thin on one side . If I compare hair from the same on both sides of my head, it is clear that one side is more than an inch shorter than the other. The shorter side’s layers look very disconnected and like two distinct layers. The face framing isn’t really a framing, more like one single layer of short pieces that doesn’t connect very well to the rest of my hair. Not an awful cut, looks fine if you don’t look to hard at it.
