I have never purchased points before but I needed some extra points to get some flights for my honeymoon. it was significantly cheaper than buying direct from airline. I was very hesitant incase it was all a scam but after reading reviews here I decided to take the chance and glad that I did! I was able to get an extra 20k points via the points trader for the same price as the airline. Will definitely use again. I don’t usually leave reviews but wanted to give my experience incase anyone else was hesitant like I was.

Jan 06,2025I dealt with Karan T. The process was excellent, I was concerned and completed assurance checks on Company and Payment methods etc. I purchased over 50,000 points. It worked perfectly and the points were in my account within two hours. Very professional and trustworthy. I would definitely use this service again.

Oct 21,2024I have been a customer of The Points Trader for a couple of years and really enjoyed the service. Good customer support, and enjoyed the benefits when travelling. However, mid last year, the points I received through Points Trader on my Aeroplan/Air Canada account have been blocked. I tried many different approaches to get them to reinstate my account, but with no result. The Points Trader pointed out to the small print in our arrangement and basically left me out to dry and I lost over 12,000 US$. So if it all works, I greatly recommend it to anyone, but be aware of the risk you're taking if something goes wrong!

Sep 28,2024After reading all the reviews I decided to go ahead and purchase Avios. Karan at The Points Trader provided an excellent service from start to finish. I have both a BA and Qatar Avios account, which I have linked. Karan was able to transfer Avios I had purchased direct into my Qatar account, which I then transferred into my BA account when I needed them. Communication between us was brilliant. Due to the time difference, If you are from the UK, I would recommend communicating with Karan midweek evenings (which suited me better anyway) you will then receive a response pretty quickly. Because of this I was able to transfer money to The Points Trader and receive my Avios within an hour. I really can’t fault this company at all.

May 11,2024Was understandably concerned that this was dodgy, but it all went through fine and saved me money. Points Trader was honest about not providing any guarantees about T&C issues with the airlines, but assured me that no customers had ever had problems in the past. Although the process was slightly circuitous - had to set up a loyalty account with another network airline and then transfer the points to my target airline, the Points Trader was prompt, courteous and informative in all communications.
