Dec 03,2023It has been almost a full 24 hours after the expected time of my unlock and I have not received a SINGLE call back, text, or email despite constant attempts to contact them. I don’t care if the unlock didn’t work. I just want a response and my money back. Just use UnlockBase, my mistake for not going with my usual. Shame on this company UPDATE: they just emailed me back (2 days after the 72 hours estimated time frame) acting like they’re doing me a favor by updating me on this order that’s already late at this point. My IMEI has been “a little tricky” because they’ve had to “make a few extra calls” but if they’re at the phone that much they should’ve been able to answer at least one of the 5 times I’ve called them for an update. If you’re gonna use this company, at least don’t use them for Xfinity Mobile 🤦♂️ UPDATE #2: they “couldn’t retrieve the unlock for this specific IMEI” BS. Very dissatisfied and especially so considering I won’t receive my money back despite not receiving the product I paid for

Dec 02,2023Fraudulent phone unlocking site made up of scammers just looking to make a quick buck off people who see the good price for the unlocking service that they supposedly provide. However most people if not all are met with the notification that their unlock isn’t possible but they’ll continue to search for a way but won’t provide a refund. They basically just take your money and do nothing and then refuse to refund you and make the threat that they’ll blacklist your phone if you try to dispute the charge. Steer clear of this fake site for phone unlocks. If the price seems too good to be true it’s because it is. Was told I’d receive a 100% refund for taking down my review but have yet to see any credit back to my card.

Nov 25,2023After waiting 3 days I also received a message saying they tried but they can't unlock the phone thought. So you pay for a service ahead of time, but they don't deliver and they make no offer to return your money You never left square one and you're out more money. Then, in their email, they tell you "Please do not threaten with an unnecessary charge-back or ANYTHING negative without cause, we consider that fraud & have full authority to BLACKLIST THE PHONE using the IMEI (Terms & Conditions). Unfortunately, in this industry with the huge amount of fraud/scammers, sellers get taken advantage of and manipulated because it's not a physical product. And we will do everything we have to in order to protect ourselves, as stated and agreed up to, in Terms and conditions. So instead of blackmailing with threats of a charge-back, let us all address the situation and end it with everyone happy! We work very hard to be the most upfront and honest company in the industry as you can see by our reviews, credentials, and reputation. Thank you again and I hope you have a great rest of your day! Nov 25,2023Unable to unlock my phone. No refund provided. Good luck. EDIT: Responding to their reply: they offered a refund if I took this post down. I didn’t reply because that sort of offer doesn’t warrant a response. After about a week, they issued a refund without me responding. Here’s my best guess at their business: they’re able to unlock only phones that are eligible for to be unlocked with the carrier (which anyone can do), but they heavily imply they can unlock ANY phone. I suspect there’d be a lot more bad reviews on here if they didn’t give refunds to people to take them down. Also, even the reply here is laughably disingenuous. They “tried to reach out to Phil to help fix whatever issue they were having.” As if my issue is somehow unclear.

Nov 20,2023Be careful or I would rather recommend to STOP. No unlock code provided for iPhone12. They emailed me after roughly 80hrs that they couldn't find the code. I am still not seeing refund on my account. My bank asked me to wait for 24hrs before I can report/dispute the transaction. If I see my full refund then I will update the review here. So far nothing. This review was posted on Nov-20-2023. If I don't see my full refund then for sure it's a SCAM!!! Update Dec-8-2023: Overall when I reached out to them for a refund; I didn't get a reply. I had to then reach out to my bank and then they I guess a chargeback was raised. Also then I wrote a review/feedback here. After a couple of days, I got a reply for the unlocking company about refund and after almost 10+ days I saw the refund in my account. Overall I would say that I didn't had a great experience.

Nov 11,2023I'm sure the service is fine for those that it happens to succeed for, but something that runs itself so much like a scam generally is one. Pretending like the unlock attempt costs are some unknown, dynamic, ethereal, and unpredictable thing is an absolute joke for any service that has successfully completed more than half a dozen phones. "At least half refunded" if it doesn't work means a couple cents less than half because bottom-feeders are bottom-feeders. If the company has been in business for as long as it says it has and still can't figure out basic cost predictions, it's either intentional, or due to gross incompetence. The IMEI blacklist threats are well established if you read more than a couple reviews. Why would a company choose to act this way? I'll give you a hint: It's either a sole individual's massive and unbridled insecurity; the voluntary election to operate in an aggressive and predatory manner to pre-empt what it knows is a garbage service; or a combination of both. The only thing this company is good at unlocking is your cynicism and helping you remember the unfortunate types of people that exist in this world. If you want to throw your money away, then give it to charity instead. Otherwise, stay away. --------------------- Edit: They offered me the rest of the refund to take this review down. This company doesn't have a great ratio in the first place, but I wonder what the ratio would be if it included all of the other people that they've successfully bribed to keep quiet. Nothing has changed with the order, ~50% was refunded originally, as already indicated. If the genuine intention was to keep trying the unlock, then why would you send a follow up email offering a different ("guaranteed") service for even more ($235.00)? Why isn't that automatic for all of the customers that you failed on the first attempt? If the failure stats were as low as claimed, then it wouldn't be difficult to provide. This doesn't strike me as a legitimate company acting in good faith, so I'll say it again: Something that runs itself so much like a scam generally is one.

Nov 11,2023Hallo, ich habe am 24.Oktober einen Simlock Code für mein A1 Handy angefordert und bis dato nicht erhalten. Obwohl steht delivery 1-72 Stunden. Die Rufnummerportierung würde heute gemacht. Also bin ich zum A1 Shop gefahren 50 Euro bezahlt für den Simlock und alles läuft perfekt. Auf Rückfrage nach 72 Stunden bei Theunlockingcompany wo der Code bleibt habe ich dann nach mehreren Mails erst am 2.11.23 eine Rückmeldung erhalten, dass es Verzögerung gebe wegen Krankheit. Sie werden sie nun bemühen den Code zu finden. Aber sie konnten das iPhone nicht freigeschalten. Nach mehreren Mails von mir und Drohungen mit Anzeige bei der Polizei habe ich dann am 10.11.23 das Geld zurück bekommen. Durch den entscheidenden Zeitaufwand und der nicht Freigeschaltung des Handys bleibt für mich ein bitterer Beigeschmack. Ich werde nicht mehr bestellen bei der Firma. Daher gebe ich auch nur 2 Sterne.

Nov 09,2023They are FRAUD and are setup to CON people. They also heavily threaten to blacklist the imei number if they are unsuccessful to unlock the phone. What a CARP load of BS. This business needs to be shutdown and taken to court for DEFRAUDING.
