Oh Watershed, I love you dearly , but your FOOD 🤦, it’s dreadful, seriously not worth the money, probably one of the worst meals I have ever eaten out. Sorry , but you really need to do a rain check on the chef.
My Watershed experience was appalling. Unprofessional, lack of evisdence base, dishonest - I was told that I would have access to psychologists / psychiatrists ... which was a key to why I 'signed up'! But the only access they gave me was a GP, which I already had access to before I committed to living with 10 people in bunk beds in a surburban house. There are so many people and so many organisations that care more for you than this one ... please seek alternatives.
The Watershed bled me dry. They told me that I could pay out of pocket till my insurance kicked in and once my insurance kicked in I would get my money back. 6 years later I have not received the dime. I spoke with the representatives at Watershed for countless hours and my insurance company. So I say watershed is only there to bleed you out of all your money and Molina Healthcare of Texas is right up there with them. If I could give them zero stars on this review I would. On top of that their treatment is ridiculous they let people leave and go out and get high and then come back as long as they are back at a certain time they consider it okay. I personally observed this while visiting a patient at their Clear Lake Texas location. Thanks for nothing Watershed! save your money and your breath -DONT TRY WATeERSHED!!!!
Was refused service as only had cash to pay with. It is legal tender. Seem the Watershed doesn't keep to it own policy of all inclusiveness by discriminating against individuals who have cash.
My son was in detox for meth in the Texas location. The Therapist Susan was very unprofessional and uncaring to him. She lied to me regarding his discharge process and about him talking to someone for a plan of after care before he left. Nobody EVER answers phone or returns calls no matter how many times you call and beg them on voicemail. I paid thousands out of pocket for this detox and as soon as they found out I couldn’t afford to pay for him to stay longer than 10 days it was like they were finished with us. My son says some of the staff talk down to you and even say they can’t wait for some of the patients to be gone. I’m very unhappy and angry right now. The only thing they did do is keep him there long enough to get him over the initial effects of not using meth.
Gave me all the tools I needed to stay sober. It was up to me after I left to continue on that path. 7 years sober today! Thankful for getting on that plane!
The people who write bad reviews are usually the ones who aren’t doing the right thing when they are here. I’ve learned so much about myself and my addiction since being here. I am truly grateful I found the watershed
Saved my life! I was hesitant about traveling to Florida for treatment and leaving behind my family and friends, but it was the best decision I ever made.
I used live chat because I only have a lifeline cell phone. The chat person,Jacob, was friendly until I told him I only have Medicaid, then he gave me information for a govt site I had already been to,when I tried to reply for more help,I was cut off from the chat abruptly. Can't call them because my lifeline cell isn't working. Tried over and over to start new chat session..it won't let me,keeps saying to call the phone number. If I had insurance maybe they will let me chat and get help,I'm lost for now.
My experience at The Watershed was wonderful. I owe my life to them. The educational classes were paramount...they taught me the reasons of why I drink and other life's problems. They are really loving, caring people. I like how all of the staff is in recovery so they know what you're feeling. I would definitely recommend The Watershed to anybody who has a problem and wants to get clean and sober. I was tired of my life and hurting myself all the time, so it was a God-send for me.

Dear Watershed and staff, I have brought to your attention innumerable times the fact that your facility is overwhelmed by drug use and AWOLs. I talked to my Therapist there, and he told me that Watershed has a strict three AWOL limit. I responded by saying "you have a three permission slip rule." You also do not enforce your rules. A patient who was there and who I will call C AWOLed at least six times. Why was he not thrown out? A rule without enforcement is no rule at all. My Therapist said C had to endure a harsh discussion with all of the Therapists as a punishment. I have had more stressful days at work. Let's talk about drug use. Whose idea was it to place addicts in run-down apartments next to known drug dealers? Are you incompetent morons? You get the outcomes you have prepared for yourself. So many people were on drugs at Quantum that I simply stopped talking to them. I can describe your program in two words "negligence" and "stupidity." Do you understand what you are doing? There are some positive aspects of the Watershed program. Your staff is nice and supportive, you got me clean, and the facility gave me a chance to recover. One other matter from the apartments, Barry is unprofessional and should be fired. He walked into my apartment and farted four times while I was doing homework from the Therapist. He also accused me of being drunk, which I was not, and me and my roommate both took breathalyzers and drug tests. The tests were not the issue, I knew I'd pass, it was his conduct. It was so unprofessional that I stopped talking altogether.
Detox all the way top iop is good bit once you get to the watersheads halfway it's like a massive s*** storm the apts are terrible the landlord Bobby is a total sum bag. You could owe 150 in rent and he will come up to you and say thats worng you owe 500 even if you have all your receipts then tell you be out by 5am
Although I was court mandated, the professionals at The Watershed stood by me for over three months. They identified crucial behavioral traits I slowly came to accept. Through repetition and lessons in tolerance their environment changed me. My transition back home proved the foundation formed was successful.
was a very comfortable i didnt feel horrible and was able to learn the tools to keep me sober. I would send a family member or a child to the watershed if one of them needed help.
The Watersheds treatment program is extremely intense, it is a well designed program and some of the staff and therapists are fantastic, but the further you go through their program the worse their staff gets. In particular Bobby, the manager of the halfway and three quarters properties likes to talk down to people and treat them like he is a collector for the mafia. A sexually confused property manager named Mel decided to changer her name to Brandon so she could pursue guys and be a gay man instead of a straight woman. It made me uncomfortable that this was the person who checked my room 5 nights a week.
Not many people get this opportunity, if you have a chance to work with the watershed please do, their very sincere and caring. The employees are more often people in recovery as well which makes a huge difference. They gave me the tools and resources I needed to have a new start in life, I was a wreck when I came down here and now I'm happy to say that I'm clean a sober and have a real chance at making the most out of life, thank you guys for everything you've done!!
I want to say thank you to the Watershed for not only being there for me during a particularly difficult time, but also for teaching me the skills and mindset to truly gain recovery. I'm now 10 months clean and in recovery, and I've not even come close to breaking that streak. I just want to let everyone know that if you make sure to experience your treatment with an open mind, you follow all instructions, and do your reading and exercises, then you too can welcome a new life, which is worth more than words can express.
A great experience from inpatient through sober livin. Definitely could improve by having less turnover of all employees. They need a better approach to IOP and PHP. Not enough space and transportation could be improved. All in all I would greatly recommend it.
