Mar 19,2024Unfortunately, with TradeDay, I experienced the trader's greatest fear... Trades were live and I was locked out from being able to flatten - they failed. I frantically sent TradeDay an email, and initially they denied a problem, then, after I provided proof, they acknowledged the system failure. No consideration for their system failure was offered, and accounts were closed.

Mar 16,2024I have been funded with almost all of the futures "Prop firms" of this type. I can safely say that it is the best of them all. It has no payout limitations, and has EOD drawdown. Yes, it is the most expensive of them all, but you should realize that good things must be paid for. The importance of EOD drawdown is vital for any trader. Besides all this, the lessons of the two founders, who have been real professional traders, are a luxury. I hope they continue to evolve and improve every day.

Mar 07,2024If you're looking to get funded by a prop firm, look no further since TradeDay is the real deal. I've been a long term funded trader with another, much bigger firm but wanted to diversify and decided to onboard with another prop firm. I had heard about TradeDay so decided to give it a go. It took me 10 days to pass the 50k evaluation challenge using their Tradovate platform (which is one of the choices). I found the market quotes and fills accurate, realistic and swift which is extremely important as you, as an evaluated Trader, should be looking to get the closest possible experience to a Live Trading environment. There are other prop firms that would slow the market or fill you much later, but TradeDay's simulator accurately "allows you" to trade the market. Once you pass the evaluation, you must complete a training that covers CME products and rules and regulations. I've never seen this at any other firm but this is something every futures trader must understand. While I was going through the sign up process with their payment platform I ran into a few issues and contacted TradeDay Customer Service. I received a response from them quickly and they were supportive. One of these responses came from a co-founder of the firm, which tells me they are involved in listening to their customers / traders. Overall, my onboarding experience with TradeDay is signifantly better and well thought through vs. other firms. Everything I've seen thus far tells me TradeDay truly cares for finding good traders and helping them succeed vs. other firms in the market who are only interested in beefing up their B-book which, of course, is part of the business model but shouldn't be the entire model. Now that I'm funded it's up to me to make the best of this prop firm. I believe there are many gamblers in this retail trading business, but there are also traders who take this seriously and want to be better 1% every day, I'm one of them. If you're looking for a firm that can help you grow as a trader, don't hesitate and sign up with TradeDay.

Mar 07,2024I passed evaluation and I even paid the initial setup fee and was signing documents when they asked me to change my review to a positive review about an earlier issue or they would cancel my account. I expressed that I was concerned that they would not pay out but if they did I would retract a my bad review because I just wanted to give a honest review on my experience and they said no and refunded my money. I got my money back but I passed my evaluation but this is no risk for them if you pass they refund you but if you fail they keep your money please everyone be careful giving your money to non-reputable prop firms.

Mar 06,2024I'm a funded trader working with TradeDay, best experience I’ve ever had with a futures prop firm. Quick supporting, fast payout. The most important that I choose to work with TradeDay is the payout rule, there are no rule for payout. I can request withdraw anytime with minimum 500$.

Mar 04,2024After I signed up with Trade Day, I attempted to get up to speed on trading futures on my own. After studying and attempting to learn futures trading without help, I decided the program would not work for me and I requested cancellation and a refund. I was granted the cancellation, but only given a partial refund--even though I never attempted any trades with Trade Day and never used any of their services. I viewed this action by the company as unfair and heavy-handed. Based on their initial reply to my review, Trade Day considers their refund policy fair, and they even took a shot at me in their response. Wow--how unprofessional is that! Consider that of seven different trade and advisory companies I have worked with in the past two years, Trade Day has the most stringent no refund policy I have seen. And a prospective customer better read the fine print in their agreement, because they deemphasize their strict no-refund policy during their marketing phase. Finally, they offer a free trial, but when I could not take advantage of it due to a family emergency, they did not offer any exception other than advising me to up with another email address to circumvent their broker. One other point: The arrogance evident in their no refund policy is also apparent in their customer service: They do not take phone calls to offer any help to traders, and all of their customer interface is through emails. It's take it or leave it with this attitude: We're doing you a big favor by offering funding and you abide by our terms or else.... This is a new company with harsh rules and not one new or inexperienced traders should have anything to do with. As more traders experience what I did in dealing with them, their high-handed approach toward their customers will catch up with them.
