May 15,2024I went for a hair transplant in February (it's now May) and the clinic lived up to all my expectations. Dr. Utkan was very professional, friendly and took the time to explain to me every single step of the process that I would be going through. During the consultation, I raised any concerns I had with Dr. Utkan and he was very detailed in his responses to me and even explained the logic and reasoning behind certain actions and steps that he would be taking during my procedure. He took one whole hour just to plan my hairline and double-checked everything with me before proceeding. Zeynep my translator was very friendly and took the time and effort to explain and translate every interaction that I had with any of the medical staff who didn't speak English. This made me feel very comfortable and allowed me to have an increased sense of confidence with the team. On top of all that, communication with the clinic continues until today as I have frequent messages with the clinic; they check up on me and request photos of my hair growth so that they can keep tabs on my progress. Any issues I've ever had are very quickly resolved via simple texts which is great. The one thing I really appreciated was the fact that after everything was over and they were giving me my medication; they did NOT upsell me on extra medication or any topical creams or shampoos. In fact, they even told me that if I were to finish or run out of the medication, that it would be cheaper for me to purchase extra medication over the counter in a pharmacy versus coming back to the clinic. This type of behavior really shows that all they want for you is to have great results and they're not just there to make money off of you. As men undergoing such treatment, we are vulnerable and hence we are susceptible to any kind of pressure to purchase in order to make sure that the results we get are solid; the clinic doesn't exploit this by upselling or pushing things like oxygen treatment, infra-light treatment or anything like that. In fact, they tell me that whilst all those treatments have some benefits, as long as I'm on Finesteride, it is more than sufficient to ensure success. But of course, the biggest value that I found going to this clinic was that I was treated by a certified dermato-surgeon. The amount of confidence that I had undergoing this procedure knowing that a surgeon is running it is peace of mind you can't get anywhere else. Dr Utkan was there for the whole 12 hours, performed the most important aspects of my procedure (opening the channels and plotting hairline) and I could see him working very hard to make sure the procedure was done well. He supervised all aspects of the procedure too. They even took the time to print out my reference photos to make sure that my hairline matched it exactly. Plus all my grafts were bathed in a bioenhanced solution to increase the survival rate of the grafts; something that not a lot of clinics practice. I also opted in for the stem cell treatment as it was recommended by Dr Utkan; I also did my own personal research on stem cell treatment for hair transplant patients and found the results to be quite compelling. I cannot recommend this clinic enough they are professional, friendly, transparent and highly communicative. If you're considering getting a hair transplant in Turkiye, do yourself a favor and go to them.

Dec 19,2023I had my transplant done (around 4500 grafts) on Dec 8th. I’d say my overall experience is pretty nice. I chose the premium FUE package in which Dr Utkan did the design and the main channel part (a couple technician and nurse did the donor area graft extraction operation), in total it took about 10 hours I think? But honestly I didn’t feel that long as I felt asleep in the middle a few times and there’s a lunch break in the middle. All folks are pretty friendly. Zeynep, the coordinator, accompanied me throughout the process and explained well for post care too! The breakfast included hotel and luxury car pick-up and drop-off comes quite handy, while I am waiting for my results to come out, I am thankful for the good work Dr Utkans team performed.

I was well taken care of by an English-speaking co-ordinator. The United Care team give excellent value for your time and money. On the flight home, several men approached me to ask for the contact details of my surgeon, as they were impressed by the results.

This was the first time I had an operation of this nature and the team was very accommodating and made it a comfortable environment throughout the procedures. They did an excellent job on walking me through the plan, keeping me informed during each step of the way and with post-op care. I truely believe that I couldn't have received this level of dedication, expertise and care from just any hair transplant clinic. Dr. Utkan and his team put a lot of effort into managing an excellent clinic and that really does show! Sep 18,2023After doing a lot of research into a HT in turkey, I settled on unitedcareclinic with Dr Utkan. It’s always a risk flying overseas to an unknown medical system. Suffice to say, I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied with unitedcare clinic. In the days after, one tends to meet others at the airport or restaurants who have gone through the same journey in Turkey, and there is a bond that brings us together to share experiences. I realised that not all experiences were the same, and it made me appreciate unitedcare all that more. I do know I paid a little more than some other places, but I believe it was well spent and would do the same again. Let me specific about the points that makes unitedcare unique and, from what I believe, one of the best clinics to engage from my discussions with others who have been to Turkey for HT. 1/ Dr Utkan is passionate about what he does. How do I know – read his blog that he keeps up to date monthly with very informative articles / journals that are well footnoted. Dr Utkan is always looking for continuous improvements and keeps abreast with the best technologies. 2/ Care assistant App – A few folks I met after the operation from other clinics had far less follow up guidance, in particular unitedcare provides an application with specific directions ranging from health, exercise, medication etc that is tailored to one’s surgery date with timers to provide daily advice on what to do and consume etc. 3/ Dr Utkan and his team dedicate themselves to you for the whole day as well as the follow up days. This is not common with other places where there are separate teams for welcoming and preparation, surgery and follow up. Separate teams don’t provide for the trust and relationship that makes one feel secure and cared for during the surgery. One man at our hotel told me how he felt his dignity was robbed by people coming and going during this surgery with the door always open. For some, this may not mean much but I can also understand how it is comforting when in my case, this did not happen. 4/ A dedicated care assistant who is fluent in English provides a comfort factor to ensure one’s whole stay runs smoothly. Again, this was not consistent with the other hair clinics and provided a continuity through the time. 5/ The hotel and transport arrangements were really 5 star. One person I met at the airport told me how his hotel was next to a construction yard while another told me his hotel was 3 star at best. The former eventually moved himself out personally. Getting good rest before and after is key to some enjoyment and recovery, so this is vital to consider. The whole experience did not feel like a “hair mill” for me. It felt safe and intimate. Thank you Dr Utkan, Zeynep, Jassim, Eleyna! You all made it a wonderful experience!

Jun 08,2023I would definitely recommend UnitedCare if you are looking for a hair transplant. My experience was very positive and with help of the pre-operation instructions, I felt prepared. What stood out for me when choosing UnitedCare was the emphasis on 1 patient a day, indicating a small but involved team, the medical background of Dr. Utkan and the transparency on the website. Also the mentioning of a natural hairline being the main goal helped me in the decision making process. I always had the feeling I was being taken care of in the best way possible. The information provided to me before and during the operation gave me valuable peace of mind, and after the day-after check-up I had time to explore Istanbul. I opted for an extra day and I would recommend that as well if you can. Thanks Dr. Utkan and team for the warm and positive experience! Can't recommend enough!

May 31,2023Very skilled and experienced team. Each person had a specific role to play in each step of the procedure, planned and crucial steps executed by Dr. Utkan himself. He used a laser device and graftometer (microscope) to plan transplant according to how baldness should progress, and the scabs formed small and individually, a sign of appropriate spacing and good placement. Corners are especially sharp and I’ve gotten multiple compliments about them now. Thank you Dr. Utkan, definitely have my referral
