University of the People is an American non-profit distance education institution of higher education that offers undergraduate and graduate degrees.
The advisors are terrible. The grading from the students is terrible. Now they modified the way you can register for classes, it must be a certain order and you can't skip the orders. I woukd not recommend to anyone find any other college.
I appreciate the Uopeople to give free tuition and online learn to eradicate the illiterate and promotion sustainability for vulnerable people who have faced challenges for study.
The University of the People is the only US university that allows people from all over the world, regardless of their financial strength, to have a university degree and have the knowledge required in industry.
university of the people is one of suitable university on the globe. I enables me to balance my work and study. Their online platform is suitable and easy to use. Instructors are always dedicating. That is why I choose uopeople as my first choice.
Badddddd experience!!
Instructors are unavailable or when available are rude. Admin puts faculty first students last.
Studying at UoPeople is one of my best decisions I've ever made in my life, it really exposed me to meet people from different countries and share my thoughts with them, I wouldn't have had such opportunity
This place is a joke. I got through the orientation class just fine. When it came time to pick my next classes my advisor couldn't even tell me which ones I would need ( I have several courses from other universities). So I picked two. Was told after I passed these then I would be able to see which ones I need for my program. Thought it was weird that I have to take classes before I can find out what's needed for my degree. In my biology class my professor tried to claim that I was plagiarizing and I was not. Professors don't really answer questions and do not lead discussions. Had one weak that my entire family was severally ill and asked for an extesnion. Both told me to contact my advisor. So I did and even provided paperwork. Never heard back. Then for the next few weeks my homework would not show when I was posting it. At one point I tried to withdraw from the biology class but it would not let me. I have tried several times to get help as my grades are tanking because their system is not recognizing my work when its submitted but nobody will answer back. There isn't anyone that you can actually call or talk to via messaging, just a chat bot. My advisor does not respond, nor does anyone else via email. This is stupid.
UOP offers education for everyone aroud the world who can't even access academic. They offer the opportunities to pursue the academic path inspite of unfavourable situations and circumstances.
UoPeople ia very good university for students.
Just starting out, but this will work well with my schedule as a single parent. It allows me the flexibility to balance work, education, and family life while accomplishing my goals to obtain a degree. To date, all my advisors have been very helpful.
I had a very nice and beneficial experience in the University of People
Quality of learning
it's great to experience flexible online learning and the community is great, add to that tuition-free with multiple programs such as bachelor in computer science,Business administration also master's degrees in IT ...
University of people is free tuition, just you need to pay the time only to be success.
Joining UoPeople is one of the best decisions I have made so far. The self-paced nature of studies and the responsive faculty, make it a delight to take any program at this institution. I would encourage everyone to take a bold step and join their programs.
Nothing is wrong to my side and the way the university is performing. Keep up the good work
It's great to be international student with your campus
UoPeople empowers me with free and instantly connected learning. Through it, I am gaining a quality education at no cost and connecting with people from all over the world, which is being a transformative experience for me.

May 19,2024The initiative is commendable, offering everyone the opportunity for advanced education. The organization is great, as is the ease of use of the provided tools. Also, the instructors are very nice and helpful. I am now at about 30% of the path of the AS in CS and I am very happy with it. On October 2023 I gave it 5 stars, but now I have to lower the rate by 1 stars because of the new "pathway system" that defeats the "studying at your own pace" idea: students are no longer able to pick the courses in the order they want and they cannot even pick the elective courses they prefer. This makes it harder for people with a full time job: when a particularly difficult course falls in the same time frame of some important deadlines at work, the only option is to take a break from college. If it happens 5 times, which can happen with particularly fast growing companies, you have to withdraw from the University. Moreover, it can happen that you have to register for an elective exam that you did not want in the first place, preventing you from taking the one you wanted. The good part about this, is that the program advisor can address the issue most of the time, but I think it should not be necessary. It's no longer studying at your own pace, but if this is not an issue for you, it's a great experience.
