Dec 06,2013I ordered a gun cabinet from here, I chose this site as it was "FREE" p&p, which I was delighted about, even after I had confirmed my address with the website, so i paid for my order happily, 4 days later i get a call from them saying i cant have my product unless i pay an EXTRA £25!!!!!!! p&p!!! Feel totally duped will never use this site again

Dec 02,2013I have to say that the service was excellent and safe arrived very very fast! So fast in fact i missed the delivery! Only the small issue of a series of chips spanning 3 inches and inch in from the top of the door diminished the experience! Safe works fine it just spoils the cosmetics of the front! Slightly disappointed but probably the couriers fault and not the store!

I asked whether the first could be returned for a refund and the folks at Winterfield were very helpful in arranging this. Both parcels arrived very quickly and well packaged. No qualms at all.

Sep 02,2013No complaint with the service from Winterfield Safes, they acted precisely on my instructions. However, we were let down by the TNT collection from BrattonSound, as there was not have room on the TNT van to collect from BS on the Weds evening. BrattonSound had already informed us of the Thursday delivery, but did not then update us that there would be a day's delay. Consequently, I stayed in all day Thurs (cancelling our planned cycle ride) waiting for a delivery that did not arrive. Waited in all morning on Fri too, and as soon as I has gone out about 2.30pm the delivery arrived - lucky I had left a note and phone no. So, communication breakdown was the problem. And I would prefer a narrower time-slot from TNT - 'between 9 and 5' is a real pain, a.m. or p.m. would at least be better. But the safes have arrived and seem OK. No problem with the products, just having to be in to sign for delivery was inconvenient at this time (summer hols, child-entertainment duty and all that,,,)

Dec 20,2013This is a good quality gun safe, well built and very sturdy. The only thing I would point out that I didn't like was the safe came with fixings, these are totally inadequate. Three access with plastic wall plugs.use these at your peril. I went to my local screw fix and bought a pack of 10mm raw bolts and the appropriate sized drill total cost just under a tenner.easy to install to a solid wall.police have been up and passed it no problem. So I would definitely recommend this safe.
