Sep 04,2019This program has prepared me well for a career in entrepreneurship. Despite being done remotely, it was very intensive and informative. I learned different aspects of the field, including customer management, capital raising, sales and marketing and so on. My mentor also took the time to give me feedback, which allowed me to figure out the areas I need to work on. I’m truly grateful that Your Intern Experience helped me get a placement that gave me such valuable work experience.

It made me understand the challenges common to planning, organising and running events, along with the steps that can be taken to weather them. Also, through the tasks that were assigned to me by my mentor, I was able to develop key skills that will be in invaluable in my future career. I really want to be an events coordinator or manager, and this program from Your Intern Experience just provided me the tools I need to get closer to my career goal.

Although I didn’t go out of the country for an internship, their program was an excellent alternative to that. I was placed with a marketing firm and had a mentor who gave me tasks and feedback. My time working for the host company greatly increased my interest in marketing and affirmed my decision to find work in this field.

Besides helping in developing my skills in social work, the internship also gave me the opportunity to demonstrate my own abilities. I was commended by my direct supervisor and other senior staff for doing a good job in assisting them with the programs they implemented. This experience truly raised my confidence in my abilities and at the same time prepared me to pursue a career as a social worker.

It was company-backed, which allowed me to learn directly from a mentor who was experienced in consulting and also perform tasks that reflected real-life consulting functions. After completing the program, Your Intern Experience even provided me with employment assistance solutions that made my job search and applications more manageable.

Aug 29,2019I recently completed my mentorship and work experience with a small firm that Your Intern Experience organised for me, and I can honestly say that it is an excellent program. Since I aspire to work in the HR field, I was mentored by a senior HR staff of the company that hosted my placement. I was assigned different tasks that included reviewing applications and assisting in the recruitment process, updating employee files, and performing varied administrative tasks. Although it was a remote arrangement, I really felt that I was part of the company. Both my mentor and a representative from Your Intern Experience check up on me regularly to see my progress. I highly recommend this program.
