Jul 22,2021Amazing (and exhausting) 24 hours and goal achieved with time to spare. Wasn't quite sure what I'd booked myself in for but was surprised to find I enjoyed every minute. Fantastically supportive group and Chris and Nic were phenomenal guides. That perfect mix of entertaining yet demanding enough to make sure we achieved the challenge. And incredibly patient with answering the same ridiculous questions multiple times over. If you've ever considered doing the 3 peaks challenge would 100% recommend going with these guys.

Jul 22,2021Wow, what an amazing experience! The first 10 minutes up Ben Nevis I thought I had bitten off more than I could chew! Chris and Nic were fantastic and were there to give encouragement when needed. They run a tight ship but if you follow their guidance you will complete the challenge in 24hours, starting at 8.30 am and finishing at 8.30 am - just what I signed up for. I'm looking forward to doing more adventures with them in the future.

Jul 22,2021Best trip ever (not for the faint hearted). Chris & Nic really know their stuff when it comes to The 3 Peaks. I've spoke to a few people who had done it before and hadnt managed to do it in the 24hrs, this wasn't the case for our trip - everyone got through it. Needless to say it it the hardest i've worked my body in a 24hr period. Chris is very assertive and very good at getting the most out of you and takes a no nonsense approach, Nic adds that feminine touch and has the more sensitive approach (but certainly not a walk over that's for sure) She is really kind & caring. If you are wondering weather to choose them for your trip maybe this will help you to decide, i have decided to do Kilimanjaro with them!!! Trust me you will not be disappointed. Ive travelled all over the world and been part of many wild adventures and this is def up in my top 3. Just do it.

Jul 22,2021Nic and Chris were fantastic motivators, I would highly recommend hiring them if you want to complete the 3 peak challenge in 24 hours, me and my friends are looking to use them again for different challenges because they were that good. also great company and good people to be around.

Jul 22,2021If you’re looking to complete the three peaks in 24 hours and I mean in 24 hours these are the guys you need!! Chris and Nic are awesome!! The give you the right words of encouragement to help you reach the top!! Dont book any other companies to do this challenge only use these guys! Hardest 23:33 hours of my life but what an experience!!

Jul 22,2021Having just completed the 24 hr 3 Peak Challenge with these guys, I have to say I cannot recommend them enough. Their commitment to giving everyone of us on the challenge the best experience possible was just 1st class. Chris has absolutely nailed the challenges down to the smallest detail and his drive, humour, and knowledge of all his challenges were spot on. Nicola, is unstinting in her support for everyone from the quickest to the slowest participant and is ready with her encouragement and Haribo in almost equal measure. If she can she will make sure everyone gets over the finish line. They make a fantastic team and I will certainly be joining them again for another adventure.

Jul 18,2021This is my second time the n3p with active mountaineering. Best company to deliver the challange by far. Chris & Nic are on point constantly with timing, transitions, mountain times, food, etc. Every question you could possibly have regarding the challange they will have the answer to. As there knowledge of what it takes to complete this challange is astounding. They know when and how to push to get the most out of you. There saying is "we want you to complete the challange more than you want to" This is so true as it is obvious the amount of pride and effort they take to help everyone achieve there goals is quite humbling. (They will literally do anything they can to help you cross the line) The coach can be a long old slog (p.s the coach is very comfortable tho) but they try and keep everyone's spirits up and have a laugh with everyone along the way making sure everyone is okay, as well as keeping everyone briefed as to what lies ahead. Also making sure everyone is motived and prepared for each mountain well in advance of reaching them. For me I managed to complete this challange with 30mins to spare and jogged from the bottom of snowden to the finish (my personal aim going into it again) this wouldnt have been possible with out both Nic and Chris who gave me gentle reminder food is fuel. Which made all the difference to me this time around. Dont book with anyone else I cant reccomend Nic and Chris enough. They are possibly the friendliest most welcoming people you could wish to meet. And not only deliver the challange exactly how it should be done but invest there time into you to try and get the most out of you. Cheers guys

Jul 13,2021Recently completed the Three Peaks Challenge with Chris and Nic at Active Mountaineering and what an amazing experience. An extremley well organised trip. Chris and Nic are so much fun and drive everyone with their enegy and personality to complete the challenge. I would highly recommened using Active Mountaineering for your challenge.

Jul 13,2021Chris and Nic at Active Mountaineering made our 3 Peaks challenge truly special. Brilliant guides, with loads of knowledge about the Peaks and what we should expect over the 24 hours. They’re tough and run the challenge to the minute. They will drive you up and down faster than you think your body can go but always with a smile on your face. We finished within the 24 hours and lots of other similar groups did not. If you want to do this and want to make the time then this is your best shot.

Jul 09,2021Completed the National 3 Peaks in 24 Hours with Chris and Nic, honestly would recommend to anyone! Amazing guides, great motivators and made sure we completed in time! If I ever wanted to see a mountain again (which I don’t), I would defo use Active Mountaineering again! 5* RECOMMEND!

Jun 21,2021My girlfriend and I booked on with Active Mountaineering after a recommendation from a friend… and we were not disappointed. What an unbelievable trip it was! Nic and Chris are absolutely brilliant and the whole journey with them was fabulous. Will 100% be recommending them to anyone who wants to complete the 3 peak challenge. The challenge was probably the hardest thing we’ve ever done - and Nic and Chris were there the whole time supporting us and making us laugh along the way! 5 big fat massive stars!!

Jun 20,2021I did the National 3 Peaks Challenge in under 24 hours thanks to Chris & Nic. Without active mountaineering I truly believe I wouldn’t have made it through, and they made the challenging experience an absolute memorable pleasure! I have chronic pain and spinal and joint injuries so my fitness is at an all time low but I took on the challenge at short notice Chris & Nic had organised everything from A-Z to ensure that the whole team got through all 3 mountains on time & with lots of fun throughout considering any of our personal challenges and approaches. There is no better mountain guides and drill Sergeants out there. <3 thank you so so much! If you’re considering doing the 3 peaks challenge (do it) I highly recommend Active Mountaineering who are also seriously great value for money

Jun 15,2021I have just completed the TRUE 24 hour national three peaks challenge with active mountaineering. This was a present off my partner for my 40th birthday. I can honestly say that it was the best experience I have ever had with these guys. Nic and chris from start to finish push me to my limit to get me and the other members of the team up and down the mountain with in the time frame given. They really do care about there clients and run a tight ship. If you are thinking of doing this challenge this company is the best out there and I would recommend anyone to book with them. I met some of the best people and most of all have the best memories I will remember and be able to share for a very long time. I would like again to thank them dearly for being very professional and so passionate about what they do.

Jun 14,2021What can I say about this company other than, they are the BEST in the business!. I have just completed the TRUE 24 hour national three peaks challenge with them. No BULLSH*T, No stopping clocks on the coaches or at the top of mountains, this company start the clock from Ben Nevis carpark and it doesn't stop until you finish at the last peaks carpark!!. I have done so many hiking challenges and expeditions with other companies and none are as good as Active Mountaineering, they lead the way by a country mile!!. They ran the whole challenge with precision and like a military operation, all to get their clients to the top and bottom of these 3 mountains within the 24 hours. They really will do whatever it takes to get you there!!. Trust me, do not consider any other company if you are thinking about doing this challenge. Do it with these guys and don't cheat yourself out of doing this challenge the TRUE way. Chris and Nic genuinely care about there clients and are so passionate about what they do, thank you for helping me to smash my challenge guys!!!!.

Jun 14,2021Absolutely loved every minute of our True 24 hour National 3 peaks challenge, Chris and Nic where fantastic from start to finish along with all the other guides on each mountain and also the different drivers we had. You run a very tight ship which is 100% needed to complete this challenge and would recommend Active Mountaineering to anyone interested in doing the 3 mountains in 24hours because there aren't many companies who can promise doing it in under 24hours. Keep up the great work.

Jun 10,2021Active Mountaineering/Chris and Nic are a fantastic company to book this challenge through. They are experts in their field and know how to manage a big group of mixed abilities. They will get you up and down these three mountains in 24hrs and are the only company that offer this true time. The clock starts at the bottom on Ben Nevis and doesn't stop until you cross that finish line at he bottom of Snowdon. NO Messing around and with you every step of the way. Listen to their training and kit advice they provide before and along the way, you'll have an enjoyable experience and will achieve every mountain, even when you think you cant, Chris and Nic will motivate and support you throughout! You are always in safe hands, their guides are also brilliant and at your side with a joke, song and more encouragement. Thank you so much we had a great weekend, i would highly recommend booking with Chris and Nic and already looking to book my next adventure.

They have got this challenge down to a fine art and it shows in every aspect of facilities, timings, planning and preparation. If you want to give yourself the best chance of completing the national three peaks in a true 24 hours these are the guys I would recommend!!
