Aug 20,2022Brilliant experience, Chris and Nic make it clear what you need to do in order to complete this challenge in time. Offering advice on food and first aid aswell as setting the pace needed to get over the line in time. Couldn't have done it without them that's for sure! We also had a coach with AC much needed in 30 degree heat.

Aug 20,2022I enjoyed this trip a lot. Nic and Chris were supportive and amazing guides. Their funny chat + determined attitude meant that while we were pushed to our limits to get up the mountain, we had a good time while doing it. Nic is one of the most caring people as well and I genuinely canāt sing her praises enough. She got my friend and me extra food from the service station and kept checking that we were doing ok. Chris is just an all round legend. He is hilarious. So I would highly recommend this company but it is not for the faint hearted and PLEASE know what you are getting yourself into before you sign up !!

Aug 20,2022Active Mountaineering where do I start, probably one of the best experiences of my life. Your professional and thorough mountaineering services are second to no one. Starting way back in February when I first started recovery from surgery, Nic has been answering questions and guiding me in the back ground while I slowly prepared my team and started recovering. She has always been at the other other side of the phone when I needed her. Their take on the National 3 peak challenge is nothing short of brilliant, it's regimented at times and they will bust your balls, but it's all for the greater cause, the completion of the challenge. My group was of mixed ages and ability and they controlled that environment wonderfully, knowing who needed pushing and when. Their passion for their work is in abundance, thank you from the bottom of my heart to the top of Ben Nevis for such a great weekend. We haven't even been home a full day and we have already booked our next challenge. Highly recommended, if the National 3 Peaks and other challenges are something you might be interested in, look no further........ Chris, Nic and team you are the best. š

Aug 19,2022I and 5 others done the 3 peak challenge for 2 charities that helped my little boy. All the lads agreed we couldnāt have picked a better company to take on the challenge. They donāt take any prisoners. They support you crossing the line but make it clear from the start you need to push yourself if you are to have that amazing feeling we all have after completing the 3 peaks. Do as they say and you will do it! They have a laugh but no when to make sure you are focused. Nic and Chris are brilliant. Make sure you train hard before! Doing the 3 peaks is one thing but these guys make sure you do it in the 24 hours.

If you want to complete this in a true 24hrs (apparently they are the ONLY company that do) then you need to book Nic and Chris to kick your butt up those mountains. It is not for the faint hearted and I requires some serious training (I wish I did more FAST hill training) but the sense of accomplishment when you cross that finish under 24hrs is immense. And well worth the annihilation from Chris and Nic. Fantastically organised, you pay for what you get, these guys do all the thinking for you so all you need to do is put one foot in front of the other, dig deep mentally and do exactly what they say. The coach is brilliantly equipped, the camaraderie fantastic and the expertise second to none. Book now with these guys if you want to get the job done properly.

Jul 23,2022Sat here one week on after completing the National 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours and actually wish I was back on the bus! It was an incredible challenge. Nic and Chris are hilarious, professional and make the challenges lots of fun. Itās also bloody tough and I thank them so much for their support and encouragement, one of the proudest moments when I crossed the finish line. Would recommend to anyone ā¦ with the right training!

As they advertise, they really do aim to get everyone through the challenge in 24 hours. Plenty of appropriate advice is given before and during the event to ensure your safety. They know when to give you the verbal push you need too!

Guided by the vast knowledge of Nic and Chris, along with their upbeat "can do!" attitude, this weekend was BRILLIANT! All credit to them! Would recommend to all! Thanks very much!

Two of the loveliest & most humorous people, both making the challenge seem easier than it should be! The organisation, professionalism and dedication was unparalleled. A 24 hour challenge means a 24 hour challenge to them - no messing around! Had the best time! Will definitely be booking some more trips in the future :)

Jun 28,2022I recently completed the 3 peaks with Nic and Chris at active. Iāve also done the challenge with a few other with other unnamed companies previously. From experience Active is the only company that actually do it as a 24 hour challenge. Their organisation is second to non and theyāll push you to your breaking to get you over the line. 100% recommend

Jun 24,2022Cancelled national 3 peaks 6:30 pm the night before the challenge! Poor communication with group and were completely unappreciative of wider affects to bookings (travel to location, accommodation cancellations). No offers of refunds to book with someone else who have their ducks in alignment. So disappointed!

Jun 20,2022Great experience, would do it again (probably)! Really well organised and well run challenge by Chris and Nic. I'd definitely recommend going through a group such as this one, get time to rest, get well guided up the mountains and you WILL complete it in time if you put your mind to it.. and stay within 6 feet of the lead guide š Got lucky with some great weather to add to it all.

Everything was so well organised and they gave absolutely all information required. I went with my sonā¦he completed it sub 24 hoursā¦I on the other hand flagged by mountain 3! So went up them all, but didnāt quite āmake itā. It was still an incredible experienceā¦and has totally inspired me to get that little bit fitter and then definitely book with Chris and Nic againā¦this time to smash it! Thank you so much xx

Under their expert guidance and good humour they successfully navigated us to complete the 3 National peaks as a timed challenge inside 24 hours. With friendly and approachable guides who really knew their environment. I would recommend this company to anyone who will listen and we will 100% be planning another trip with them in the future.
