Oct 12,2024I have been using and relying on a Lite 2 device for nearly 3 years and have had it calibrated on a yearly basis. It recently developed an annoying “glitch”. I contacted AlcoSense who immediately generated a return label. The unit was sent back and I received a phone call a few days later informing me as to the status telling me now all was well. When I inquired as to the cost of repair I was told that there was no charge and I revived the device back two days later in as new condition. Baring in mind the age of the unit I would consider this to be customer care of the highest level. Well done AlcoSense 👏👏👏

Sep 14,2024I bought the Alcosense Excel as I’m going on a motorcycle trip to Europe, where the driving limit is lower than in the UK. The unit seems to be well made, and the instruction booklet is easy to follow. I’ve tried it 4 times. 1. With no alcohol 2. 90 minutes after drinking 2 pints 3. When I got up to visit the loo, 90 mins after a night out, where I drank 4 pints and a small whisky. 4. The morning after the previous test. Each time the Excel gave the expected result, with test 2 advising caution and test 3 advising me not to drive, as I was only slightly below the UK limit. The other 2 tests gave me a green light. All in all, as the advice changes 20% below the legal limit, I’m confident that the results are a good indication of whether I’m fit to drive, and under the legal limit.

I purchased the Excel from Amazon, So far I'm happy with the breathalyzer Excel, I used it this morning after a social night for work last night and it showed I had alcohol still in my system, this enable me to make the right decision to change my diary for the morning and have meetings on line.

Sep 04,2024I bought the Alcosense Excel to replace a cheap unit which I had no confidence in, it almost always registered 0 when that was very unlikely. The Alcosense is in a different league with sound construction and professional guidance and I've had complete confidence with it so far.

Aug 09,2024Very good breathalyser which is easy to use and well designed. The instruction manual is clear and easy to understand. The calibration certificate is a bit basic though and the actual device is a bit expensive to buy, but on the whole it is a good product. Would be better if there were some straps inside the carry case to stop the device from accidentally falling out when opening. There is a pouch made of netting but the device doesn't fit inside it. You can use this netting to store mouth pieces, but then it is difficult to close the carry case.

Jul 28,2024I just bought an Alcosense Lite 2 breathalyser, as due to travel to ROI and France this year. Just tried it out and its really easy to use, accurate and small enough to carry with me in the car. I would recommend anybody to get one as its also a reassurance to check you are not breaking the drink driving laws.
