Apr 23,2020I would never recommend this company to anyone! The worst experience of my life, as if buying a home isn’t hard enough these people string you along till the very end. Nothing is ever done in a hurry or on time. They are unprepared and clearly only have their own personal gains in the for front of their minds. Stay clear of this company by any means!!! They don’t keep deadlines and do not stay in contact. AVOID

Apr 23,2020The loan process went smoothly. My only complaint is the following. We applied for this loan on 3/7/2020. Loan disclosures showed .75% in points for a total of $1364. On 3/19 we received new disclosure showing .75% again. On closing, 4/17/2020, the points were 1.25% for a total of $2273.75, for an increase of $909.75. When I called our mortgage consultant, he informed me that it had changed on 3/17/2020. The disclosure we received dated 3/29 still said .75%. You can say it was my fault for not carefully reading every line of the 4/13/2020 disclosure, but I feel it should have been pointed out to me that it had increased that much.

Apr 22,2020Had an excellent experience. Service, especially our contact Nathan Rogers, was quick, simple and fun. The notary closer was excellent and came to our home, making everything easy. Closing was quick. All questions were answered in a timely manner and everything was as we expected. This is our second experience with American.

Apr 18,2020Do NOT use this company - I have been a Realtor in the Denver Metro Area for over 14 years and they are by far one of the worst lenders I have ever worked with and I work with about 30+ lenders a year. Their communication is terrible, they do not return phone calls or emails, they blow by dates and deadlines and all at their borrower's peril. There are so many fantastic diligent lenders in the Denver area I encourage to use a reputable lender for your real estate transaction, it will make all the difference!

Apr 15,2020We refinanced our home, from start to finish, in three weeks during our nations most devastating economic crisis since the great depression. Meghan, our loan officer, found herself homeschooling unexpectedly and Genae, our loan processor, suddenly had to drive 2000 miles to rescue her daughter from an emergency closure of her college campus.The obstacles to achieving this loan were only multiplying but you get an idea here that these are people who work very hard. But more importantly these are people who care. Meghan was always communicating the process and responding to questions expeditiously. Her empathy and understanding made the process very good. Genae is a true "hoop jumper" who kept everything flowing and was amazing in her availability to help above and beyond. Probably the greatest limitations were my wife and my ability to gather the necessary paperwork on our end. But Meghan and Genae were always there for us and got it done during the most difficult of times. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Apr 14,2020Making the commitment of buying a home is among the most stressful experiences a person can have. Everyone knows this, yet when it is ourselves going through the process we truly feel the weight of it. This is why I was filled with gratitude every single time I spoke with Philip Goddard. Initially, I really had no idea what to expect but his manner was kind, positive and professional. He instilled a feeling within me of utter confidence that I had support during my entire home loan experience. I know I was not an easy client. I was nervous, anxious, floundering, even afraid, full of questions, needing reassurance and uncertain of the process. Philip consistently communicated with me, even multiple times as needed to reassure me that I was in the good hands of a competent team. His voice alone on the phone was enough to brighten my day and make me feel safe. I can't express how comforting that was at a time when I was having difficulty sleeping or having nightmares about buying a home on the ocean as a Tsunami was hitting! Philip Goddard is an asset to the company and was outstanding during my entire experience. It is strange to think that someone I didn't even know, had such an effect as to feel like a caring person in my life, if only for this short time. It was entirely valuable. I have spent my life working with special needs people, extending compassion and empathy to all ages of students and adults. I do it out of kindness to humanity and sometimes have wondered ( when situations were really difficult) if this kindness would come back to me "karmically" somehow. During my experience with American financing, I did feel that what goes around comes around as I was treated how I treat others. Antoinette Valencia was also a patient and kind support with excellent communication. She explained things to me that I had forgotten about and was always there to answer questions as well. Her follow through with messages I left on her phone, (and emails) was surprisingly quick. I felt like she was always there for me.Her consistent support talking with me through challenges I faced and reminding me of the next steps, in emails (and verbally )as needed, was impressive. She gave me the attention I needed to help me move through the final steps of completing what felt like an overwhelming task. I am thankful to have had her expertise and guidance. Philip checked in with me along this process as well. So I felt like BOTH of them were being mindful of supporting my efforts in every way. What an excellent team. Absolutely I will refer people to this company.

Apr 11,2020I worked with Krystal Moon to refinance our home in Georgia. She was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the whole process - ALWAYS available, helpful and professional. We were also able to get a better mortgage rate than I even thought possible, and she did some extra digging to find us some account credits so we needed NOTHING out of pocket at closing. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to refinance. Tasmisha Daviss was also a pleasure to work with - so kind and helpful. A great experience from start to finish!

Apr 09,2020I heard about American Financing on the Glenn Beck show. Being skeptical I called. I asked about a VA loan but the loan origination fee was going to be ridiculous. I then had them run the numbers on a conventional loan, the loan officer was helpful and answered all my questions. Toward the end of the process though she would not return my call. The entire process was online and easy. I was able to lower my interest rate and payment by $300. The final loan officer was excellent and efficient. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lower interest rate. Americanfinancing.net was a solid choice and I don’t have any regrets.
