I purchased a Breitling from them and it has a warranty on the watch. Recently the watch has been losing a minute or two every day. So I sent the watch in to be looked at, while under warranty. They sent me a bill for $666 to fix the watch… the watch that’s under warranty. What’s the point of a warranty if they won’t honor it. Also, it does need a new band. Breitling will replace for 180. They want 495. So that says something as well. If you buy a nice watch that works, you’ll be set. But if you buy a defective watch from them, you’ll be on your own.
I have seen a watch on their website that is listed for $4275. On their page on ebay they listed it for $4675. I contacted them asking about this watch, once they saw me interested in this watch, they removed the watch from eBay and increased the price of the watch on their website for $5775. I wonder why, since you want to sell your watches why you act this way and take advantage of customers. Bad experience.
I received an email from Authentic Watches asking if I was satisfied with service of the watch I sent in. I reinterated how dissatisfied i was and I received no response. They also sent me an email with a link to write a review. When I went to the link I was immediately timed out so I couldn't write the review. I wouldn't have anything to do with them. My purchases through Jomashop have been a much better experience.
I love Tag Heuer watches and ordered the WAC1216. It is impossible to find a new one. Authentic Watches had it on their website and it stated it would probably be three (3) months. I was willing to wait because I love that particular watch and wanted to buy "new". The watch arrived in a month and I was so surprised. It is absolutely beautiful and was packaged beyond belief. I had called before to get an idea of when it would be arriving and they were great with their communication. This is my second Tag Heuer watch I have ordered from them.
I sent my Longines Master Collection Chronograph watch in for what I thought would be covered under warranty. The watch is less than 2 years old and I have worn it less than a dozen times. The last time I wore it I discovered it had very little reserve time, actually it would be stop in the morning after being left out over night. The watch s advertised as having 54 hours reserve time. I keep all my watches in self-winding watch cases. I wore the watch for week before sending it back to Authentic Watches, winding it every morning for at least thirty times as recommended and wearing it all day. Every morning the watch was stopped. I received a notice today saying the watch is not covered under warranty and it needs a complete overhaul. I told them to send it back to me without doing an overhaul. I have bought a number of watches from Authentic Watches with good results and have recommended them to other people. I will never recommend them to anyone again after this experience. After reading what I wrote, I hope the reader would concur with me.
Great watches, Fast shipping!!!
I was sold a watch in New condition. I received a serviced watch, with the wrong minute hand, a blemish on the dial, a tight stem, and appeared to be polished according to my jeweler. The stickers did not appear to be original factory as they did not have the red band on the bracelet. The watch was returned without stickers and some tiny scratches, which I believe were there but out of sight under the re-applied stickers as I did not wear the watch out in the 48 hours of owning it. They would not offer a full refund and since I paid with wire, I was forced to take a 20% restocking fee. Buyer beware. *updating review based on business response. Watch was purchased from authenticwatches.com and again further proof that this business should not be trusted. This review was vetted by trustpilot and is 100% true. *2nd edit based on business response #2. Order no#AW-216054 on 5/2/24. I have all receipts and correspondence of this fraudulent misrepresentation. Also posted to BBB and complaint to FTC. Business has also flagged this review multiple times as illegal trying to take it down and each time it is reinstated. Would not recommend doing business with this company. Buyer beware.
This company has been selling Breitling blue face chronoliners for years and ask $10000 a pop. There is no escrow involved or a guarantee that you can get a refund if you are not satisfied. There is no customer service whatsoever and the the watches are at least $4000 overpriced. The same watch on chrono 24 is €6-7000. Please beware!
I recently lost a Raymond Weil watch that I had received as an anniversary gift from my husband. The watch was expensive to me $2,500, but more importantly it had a great deal of sentimental value. I wanted to replace the watch and found Authentic Watches. I called and ordered a watch on January 18, 2024. I was told that I would need to pay a 10% nonrefundable deposit that day. They had up to 3 months to find the watch. The gentleman that I spoke to said I would be billed the remaining balance once a watch was found and that Authentic Watches would email me regarding updates to the process. I gave them my American Express card and all the necessary information over the phone. Shortly after hanging up the phone, I received an emailed invoice. A week later on January 25th, I received a strange email from PayPal requesting a payment for $2675.89. Thinking this was a spam request, I ignored it. Then the next day, I received another PayPal email. Again, I thought it was spam. Two days later, I called Authentic Watches and explained that I was receiving strange emails from PayPal requesting payment. She said that those were invoices sent by them. When I explained that I had given my American Express number over the phone, she said that they couldn’t use that card because they couldn’t authenticate it. She said that they called three times and left voicemails and that they had sent emails as well. I explained that I had only received one email from them which was the original email on the day that I placed the order but hadn’t received anything else from them. I also indicated that I never received a voicemail from them and after looking at my recent incoming calls determined that someone had called me on the January 19th but never left a message. Giving Authentic Watches the benefit of the doubt, I asked if she could send an authentication request while I was on the phone with her so that we could both be sure that the came through and I did my part correctly. She said, “No” and then explained that her accounting department wouldn’t allow it due to fraud. She kept saying that I basically couldn’t be trusted as a customer and that the only way I could start the process of them looking for the watch was to pay the full amount via PayPal today. Due to their less than stellar online reviews, I said I was not comfortable paying for the watch 100% up front and using PayPal which gave me no recourse if they did not fulfill their part of the deal. They were unwilling to take my American Express card or any other card because they know I have recourse. This whole process has been extremely frustrating and nothing like was initially described to me when I first ordered the watch. When a company demands full payment via PayPal, I don’t think it’s the customer who is trying to commit fraud. Beware of this site!
I bought an Omega constellation watch and got the confirmation at a sales price of $4,995. Three days later I received an order saying they could not process my credit card and I must pay with Pay Pal, Amazon pay or a wire transfer. They told me to start the order again. The same watch is now $9,000. I called and customer service said it was now out of stock, but I could buy at the higher price. Then it is just being sold at the higher price. I cannot afford $9,000 and anyway thought it was confirmed at roughly half this. Then the guy could conveniently not hear me. A bad experience. Will find a new place to buy,
I’ve bought 6 watches from authentic watches and I never had an issue. I would buy a seventh if I saw the model I’m looking for at a fair price.
I live in the middle east and ordered several watches from them over the past ten years or so. Oris, Tags, Omegas. Never had any issues. They ship really fast and never had issues with my items. However, I don't feel comfortable enough to purchase expensive watches like Rolex from them.
Scammers thieves. Great service fast you will get your merchandise overnight, but if you don’t keep it you will be screwed. I order a watch was not aware it was too small as soon as I saw the size returned the watch did not even remove plastic protection when I sent it back got hit saying I scratched the watch and got refunded only 80%. They are scammers even though their merchandise is good make sure you don’t have to return it they will make some money of your mistake.
It's rare I get bit but did with Authentic Watches. Doesn't come with a Rolex warranty, so very low resale value. Tried to resale to them within a year and no response from Authentic Watches. Item didn't keep time and had to take it to a Rolex dealer to get fixed. They may have watches, but they are way overpriced. Be patient and wait on a new watch from Rolex. Their warranty is useless.
Agreed. Thieves! Would not give a full refund--cost me $700!!! They falsely accused me of taking off and remounting the stickers! The watch was likely previously sent and returned by one of their customers or from one of the black market dealers they got it from. Worst experience of my life. Do Not Buy!
Purchased an omega constellation watch from them. The box is in tatters, when I wrote to them they said that is how the boxes are as they have been kept for a while. However when you purchase the item the box is shown as brand new. To be honest I have paid in excess of USD4000 for a brand new luxury watch in a proper brand new box. I will never buy from them again. I am now suspecting they may be probably selling reconditioned watches as new. Hopeless company.
Expect to be charged at least $50 to return anything EVEN if it's not your fault. They don't size watches correctly, item was listed as Brand New yet it came in a damaged box. No paperwork from the Watchmaker which makes you wonder where they get these from. Sketchy to say the least!
I have purchased a Longines Master Collection from these guys, and I am very happy with the purchase. Fast shipping and superb price. Can't beat it. I do recommend.
I bought a Longines watch and had to send it back twice for the same issue of not keeping time. They claimed that it needed a “total overhaul” and that the warrantee didn’t cover that. Really? You’ve sold me a $1200+ watch that has had to be sent back to you twice within a few years, for the same issue since I bought it new, with OBVIOUS minimal wear and now you want me to pay for a total overhaul…. That’s really wrong. You may not manufacture them, but you sell and warrantee them and your warrantee is what you are using as an excuse to claim that it “needs a total overhaul”. It is the SAME problem that you were supposed to fix in the first year, and didn’t. You should’ve replaced it then… now you claim it needs an overhaul? A barely worn watch that you sold me new that has had issues from the start? You should take it up with whoever sold you the watch, be it Longines or not. YOU sold me a “new” faulty watch and a faulty warrantee.. You didn’t fix it the first time and it’s still doing the exact same thing and now you claim it’s because it needs this total overhaul? This lies with you and your dishonestly about selling me a faulty watch and manipulation of the warrantee. YOU should replace it and go after whoever sold it to you. Period. *** Reply to update: There was nothing wrong the first time I sent it in? Really?.. so, I boxed up my $1200 watch and payed for shipping to send it to you for repair because I was bored? Now you’re just sounding desperate to get out of the truth of this.

Oct 25,2024I’ve purchased two watches from this company in the past. All I’m going to say is DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. THEY ARE TERRIBLE BUSINESS PEOPLE.
