best premiums on Silver in UK. Professional large mint. Good customer services. Be patient with orders given current silver retail craze, there are delays between order paid and actual shipping up to a month so don't panic, world doesn't end yet. Seems they take stock from Royal Mint so if you are in a hurry, get stuff from Royal mint (you will pay higher premiums).

I have dealt with Baird since 2005 and find them solid, trustworthy and reliable. They not only deal in precious metals but are also one of the longest established precious metal refineries in the UK.

Bought silver for collection at Hatton Garden shop. But the store is not open for my collection. Why is this an option during the purchase process if the store is closed? Now I apparently have to pay storage fees. What a shambles. Also no date for completion of my order, just said ‘TBC’.

I was trying to buy silver. My debit card was rejected several times than I got an email saying that they don't accept cards and can only accept payment by transfer or cheque. This info wasn't mantioned before purchasing.

I have been dealing with Baird & Co for 11 years and I highly recommend them. They always have stock available and during periods of high demand you sometimes have to wait for stock to come in, but they always fulfill orders and honor the original price quoted. Delivery is always prompt and the packaging is always discreet and secure. Selling back to them is easy and the prices are always competitive whether you are selling or buying. I highly recommend this supplier.

Recently ordered some silver on 01/02/21. Full amount of money taken (£500) on the day but order cancelled on 12/02/21 stating no money had been paid to them. No response to any of my emails and phone line has been 'busy' all day for a week. Will I get my money back I wonder... Update - Order arrived 17/02/21 but did not recieve any confirmation emails or replies.

I wanted a 1 oz gold coin as a present for my wife. The web-site stated that payment could be made by credit card. (protection for a customer) but after several failed attempt's I telephoned to inquire about the problem. Apparently only debit cards are accepted despite what the web-page says. Anyway, I used a debit card. Money gone. No coin. No response to messages. You choose if you want to do business with a company like this. I can't afford to lose £1400 but how I'll get my money back I do not know.

I emailed Baird prior to posting this review to get their input first (as I think that's fair for businesses). They sent me back a templated response. Shows how much they care. -- Placed an order 8 days ago, £2250 paid for by card. Their order email states that they will confirm the order during office opening times. After 3 days I emailed them asking how long this process takes, no reply. After 7 days, I email them again. I finally get a reply from them (7 days after my order was paid for) this time they asked me to upload the compliance documents (KYC AML). Understood, no problems. However, I clicked on the link to upload my passport and it stated that my account was suspended (no idea why, I've not used their site before). I emailed them back, asking them to lift my account suspension. I then received an email today saying that my purchase has been cancelled for 'Non payment'. ... I phone them up, I spoke to Umir. "Why does it say it's been cancelled for non-payment when I have paid?" "This is our cancellation email" "Right, but this is wrong then? As I have paid £2250. Shouldn't it be a refund confirmation if anything?" "No, this is how our cancellation email looks in the system" "..." As you'd expect, I gave up. Despite my previous emails being ignored by Baird, Umir told me to email them again. So I did. I got back a template response and nothing else. ... so now my order has been cancelled for 'non-payment' and I'm waiting for my £2250 refund (I've had no written confirmation yet that this has been made). Very weird way to treat a customer. I'm not sure if it was because the gold price went up, I guess this may be part of their business model to ignore the customer and then cancel the order if the gold price goes up after you've paid for your order. To reiterate: I purchased the gold and paid. They sent me no emails. After me sending them 2 emails in 7 days, I finally got a reply asking for my passport details. 1 day later they wrote to me saying that my order was cancelled for non-payment.

I have made numerous purchases with Bairdmint and even visited their shop and always received top notch service. I have sent couple of emails regarding my account and orders always answered swiftly. Also premiums are one of the best on the market.

I read reviews before purchasing for the first time. And I was very worried about purchasing from baird as it would've been the first time I purchased commodities. I had already been scammed this year. I signed up with them a month prior to purchasing, so my documents were already in their system for identification. And the whole process was as simple as buying gifts from amazon. Literally put things in my basket, paid for the items in full, the items came within a day or so. There was an error with my first transaction with a glitch online. So I then paid over the phone with a deposit. They soon rang me back telling me the order had duplicated and refunded me the deposit. It came in a sealed envelope in discreet packaging. The items itself were sealed in protective plastic/credit card type. They were unbelievably helpful and my order was considered to most people - a small order. And they treated my sale with utmost respect and professionalism. I will certainly be a regular customer of baird and Co for the upcoming future. The thing I can prob say to first time buyers is sign up first and send documents over, don't try to purchase and then sort documents out as it looks like many people have come across problems and give themselves a head ache when placing deposits and waiting for ID to clear; giving baird and Co a bad name.

Online account opening process would not accept 'pdf' files. Attempted to speak by 'phone, no answer. Message sent via website, no answer. Called again following day; this time directed my enquiry to 'Sales' who unsurprisingly answered my call. Account then opened via email exchange with their Compliance Dept. Attempted to pay for my purchase by credit card but received message advising credit card not accepted. Further call to Sales where I was informed that credit cards only accepted for 10% deposits following recent policy change - pointed out to Sales that their website had clearly not been updated to reflect their policy change. Decided that I must rely on my first impressions of Baird & Co and look elsewhere for the level of service I am expecting.

Placed my order at the end of last week, paid for it, provided the required ID and received it yesterday. Very quick service, plenty of emails to advise of the process and changes in the order status. All in all very happy with the service and the price and will use again.

Sent them an email 2 weeks ago about buying gold and the selling process , they dont even respond so they are not getting my money . Imagine if you want to sell your gold and they do not even respond on selling , let alone buying it back in a bear market . a mickey mouse company

Shortly after posting this one star review I received the coin. No communication, just the coin. Conclusion: This company is reliable, though I believe their priority is the larger orders. The small collector will be at the bottom of the fulfillment list but will be taken care of. Thank you Bairdmint. Original post----------------- Three weeks ago I paid a deposit, then the balance owed, to purchase a gold coin for my husband as a gift. To date, I have No Response to numerous emails, No Coin, and No $$$ in my account at Bairdmint.com (marked as "Pending" the past 3 weeks).

So it has now been almost 6 months since my order went missing/wasn't delivered (ref #358024) and I still haven't received a replacement. In fact Baird still haven't even contacted me in person besides from their "public" reply they posted on trustpilot 2 weeks ago - APPALLING! They have happily admitted the Royal Mail have lost my parcel in transit - "From your order and tracking number it would suggest that they have not delivered the goods."... but for some reason they haven't sent me a replacement parcel??? The RM delays isn't relevant to me and isn't a credible excuse. Send my replacement order! You as a company are fully insured for these occasional losses so send me my replacement parcel before I have to escalate this legally. I am sick and tired of this now. It is a small order of 40oz of silver, imagine how I'd be treated if it was a big order! I'm just thankful I purchased my large orders elsewhere or I'd be seriously worried. If this isn't resolved very promptly there will be more reviews to follow very shortly. ref #358024 PLEASE never buy from this company as I have been treated like rubbish.

Have an allocated storage account with Baird and the organisation can be hard to deal with. It is common for emails not get any form of reply unless chased. Sometimes even after chasing there is no response. Whilst good on price the customer service side of the business needs a major shake up.

so there are not many reviews written about this refinery/mint/dealer. So at first i was a bit skeptical about buying from them because I could not find much info. Anyway they are registered with LBMA, so i decided to order and i am very impressed literally got my items the next day. Really fast service. customer service via email or phone its amazing in the sense that they are very direct and to the point but what mattered to me is i get my items without any problems and that was the case. So I am happy with this company. Legit items, cost effective and super fast service. I would recommend them, trustworthy company.

First time buying bullion. Chose Baird for their rates when compared to other suppliers. Plus I am from London so I can visit easily. Phoned them up on 1st July to place the order under and company account. They gave the rates, gave me 2 days to transfer. Amount was transferred, and today, 3rd Jul, I received what I bought. Spot on. Some areas can be improved, like having online ordering for corporate accounts so that transactions can be done anytime. But not too big a deal. Email response times are reasonable, could be improved. Overall, am happy with the service and looking forward to further dealings with them.
