Bought some Barbour wellies for walking the dog. They fell apart within a year, Barbour agreed I could be refunded for them, so I stupidly bought the same again thinking lightning wouldn't strike twice........the new pair fell apart even quicker. Wore them from Feb 2022 upto the start of the hot weather in April 2022 , when I put them back on in Nov 2022 they immediately split in two places on right boot now left boot has also split......think they may be from Barbour's 'Titanic' range of wellies!?! Surely they shouldn't fall apart after a couple of months use?

I was recently (Christmas) gifted a pair of your boots. the 2nd time I had worn them and the first time in the rain. Imagine my disappointment when one of the boots (right one) seemed to bubble up ? I have attached some pictures both of the box and the boots. I emailed this to Barbour and they say they’re creases from wear ! I know the difference and one boot has bubbley effect and the other hasn’t

Brand new Product not fit for purpose, a wax hat that let water pour in on the seems. When returned I was fobbed off with excuses that didn't relate to the issue. Chloe in customer services was very dismissive, no-one read what the issue was and tested it for another fault. Barbour were unable to repair or replace product. When it was returned to me by Barbour it was crushed into a smaller box than I returned it in. The hat had been worn once. I asked to escalate the complaint and it was not, just offered a voucher. I've just binned the hat and bought from another retailer.

I ordered a pair of wellington boots in late December and after not hearing anything for a couple of weeks I emailed them. Two days later I got a response saying they were being processed. After this amount of time, and rain, I was in desperate need of wellies so I found a similar pair from Joules at a third of the price (and recieved just two days later!) I phoned Barbour to cancel my order today only to be told that they were packaged already so I just had to request a return to sender on the DPD app. No problem. A few hours later, I receive an email to say that my wellies were not in stock and my order couldn't be fulfilled. They gave me a 15% off discount code. So after two weeks and multiple contacts I now have a bargain pair of wellies from Joules and absolutely nothing from Barbour except disappointment and a code I will not use as I don't trust them anymore. I thought that such a reputable name would have had superior service.

Bought a jacket online, returned it for a refund. It was received by Barbour in good condition on the 19th of December and despite me writing and calling the refund was not processed until today, 12th of January, and only after another phone call. Way too long, even at Christmas.

I returned a coat which was received by Barbour on 23rd December, I had an email notification to confirm this which stated I would receive my refund after 14 days. As of 12th Januray I still haven't received a refund and when emailing customer service I was told that refunds were taking up to 28 days due to the impact of Royal Mail strikes and that there was no system in place to notify customers once they have received a return (although I have an email from Barbour to say they had received my return??). Why Royal Mail is impacting a refunding a return they have already received doesn't make any sense. I've replied to them with a copy of the email confirming my return and have been told again that due to the impact of Royal Mail strikes it is taking 28 days to process refunds. Very poor customer service and overall service. They would've just been better off advising me that refunds are taking longer due to the busy Christmas period and not blaming Royal Mail, I would've accepted that and not written this review!

I have just received excellent customer service (thanks Charlotte) from Barbour regarding a pair of faulty slippers. They couldn't have been more helpful, particularly as slippers originally purchased from another company, and replaced the faulty pair very quickly and without any problems. I have bought many Barbour items over the years and have always been pleased with the quality.

My Barbour Corbridge Jacket failed in a few areas starting 3 months after purchase. I finally caved in when the elastic for the (barely used) hidden hood failed and returned it after just over (crucially) 12 months. It took a month to get a response, which (via the retailer I used) was a quote for the repairs. This quote was £75 (pocket linings and hood) - more than the total cost of my previous jacket which had lasted over 3 years. I thought I had treated myself to a premium product with after care to match but my experience could not be further from it.

It’s a shame I cannot give no stars. I bought a wax jacket which like all Barbour products was expensive. I didn’t keep the receipt after a year (who would), it’s been worn three times and zip broken. They couldn’t have been more unhelpful or dismissive. I have sent photos which they claim not to have received. No apology. Do not use this company.

Item was fine but didn't fit. Was returned for a refund 3 weeks ago, no sign of refund. No reply to message. If no refund soon I will request a charge back from my back which doesn't look good for a big company!

Order lost by courier, poor communication from Barbour. My experiences with DPD their courier is poor they should use someone else it affects their brand especially since I payed for the poor delivery service. Product good, service and comms poor.

Poor experience. I ordered in the black friday sale. Delivery was quick but one item was missing and took 3 weeks to get it refunded, the other items I sent back 3 weeks ago (part of a very large order) were delivered to their warehouse more than 2 weeks ago, but to date (2nd Jan) I have yet to receive a refund. Incredibly slow and no replies from customer service. This is completely unacceptable for a premium brand, it’s not like I bought on a Chinese website were things need to be shipped back to another continent. I live in London, should be faster to retune items and get a refund, especially since you acknowledged you have received the items back to your warehouse.

I placed my order on December 2nd and I am still waiting for it. The first one got lost somewhere after the customs check. Second one shipped (maybe..) but no news. I tried to call the customer center (32 attempts!) without answer.. And of course, no answer to my email... Hello????? Are you there???? Shameful. Don't sell on the web if your are not able to guarantee a good customer service.

Don't often write reviews but this company has upset me. Bought a pair of Barbour Primrose Mittens size large so plenty of room. I thought I was buying quality and warmth! On first wearing they split down the seam which I stitched up, second wearing the seam came apart further down. I informed Barbour and sent photographic evidence. Received a short reply- as I repaired them I have no right to compensation! Expensive mistake in the bin! Won't forget their lack of compassion.

Order two coats, both were too small, even though I ordered my usual size. The coats were thin, poor quality and cheap looking. Returned both coats some weeks ago, (tracked so I know exactly when they were received back by Barbour) still no refund or even an acknowledgement of Barbour receiving them. Would of expected better!

Great customer service. Rang for sizing advice. Friendly and professional service. I tend to find that if you treat people well it is reflected in their service back to you and Barbour is no exception to this. Happy and cheerful, even working over the Christmas holidays.

Seven years ago, I bought a Barbour Fellmoor jacket online from Outdoor and Country. After using it regularly for 7 years I decided to wash it for the very first time in 2022, as per the washing label which said it could be machine washed at 30 deg C. The dry-cleaning symbol was not shown on the garment washing label. Unfortunately, the jacket shrank! I emailed Barbour Customer Service who confirmed I had followed the washing instructions correctly and said that if the garment shrank, it was a defective product. I was advised to contact the retailer with proof of purchase. I did not have the proof of purchase but I dug up a review I had done on Trustpilot when I bought it. Outdoor and Country located the purchase as having been made on 24/1/2015 but said they could not help as it was more than a year old and suggested contacting Barbour. Barbour then wanted to inspect the garment and sent me a Royal Mail label for free return. Following inspection, they wrote that they had identified the issue that I had found. They said that they were unable to offer a like for like replacement as they did not have any Fellmoor jackets. But they offered £369 towards a new jacket from their collection. I opted for the Wellesley jacket priced at £429 and volunteered to pay the £60 difference. This was promptly accepted and in two days, despite the Christmas season, and Royal Mail strike, my new Wellesley was delivered by courier. I am entirely delighted with Barbour Customer Service as well as their products. They rightfully deserve all FIVE STARS!

I own three Barbour wax jackets, one of which is over 20 years old and was needing a re-wax so I sent it to the Barbour re-waxing service in November, three weeks later me jacket has been returned and looks like new. I cannot recommend this service high enough.

Customer care is pointless with this company, following five emails and one long phone call, absolutely nothing Order on the 14th December 22, they took the money but up to now 23rd December nothing, Disappointed to say the least !!!

Terrible experience - I would give zero stars. Delivery took just under two weeks. Customer service representative by the name Emma most unhelpful to deal with. Will never shop with this company again. The reviews on Trust Pilot do not surprise me. My advice - Go elsewhere!!
