Ordered a dog jumper online. Delivery experience was great. Product very poor. Emailed customer services within 24 hours of collection. Product needed repair in after first wear. No response from customer service.
Ordered item on Tuesday. Not heard anything or if item has been dispatched. Appears I have been refunded but not been told. Very disappointed as this is a Christmas present.
I've recently had very good customer service from Barbour and wanted to thank Karen especially for her kindness. Although my issue took a long time to resolve (not their fault) I was treated with understanding and patience. Many thanks for an excellent service, I'm very pleased with the outcome.
No sign that delivery is even close to being despatched yet when my order was placed on 2 December. Crooked company that are quick enough to take your money out of your bank account. Avoid them like the plague. Very much a take the money and run company.
Heute habe ich meine Sapper Jacke black erhalten, gibt es hier so gut wie nicht. Kundendienstbetreuung war 2 x notwendig, es wurde schnell und kompetent geholfen. Durch den Zoll nach 14 Tagen angekommen. Ich bin überaus zufrieden, die Jacke ist top.
Arrived damaged. As a gift this was un-usable. Customer service lacked either the competency or inclination to resolve/provide replacement. 3 weeks of emails later was informed the best way to replace was to take it into the retail store. Longest and most painful purchasing experience - never again.
Several items ordered 2nd December, as yet not despatched. Email to customer service unanswered. Called helpline, told to ‘press 1 re an order’ but told ‘digit selected is invalid’. Pressed 4 for another query and line goes dead. Absolutely the worst company I have ordered from this year. I just want to cancel now and have my money refunded.
Just had to call and cancel my order. Who can wait 9 days and counting with no updates before the item is even dispatched. This shouldn’t be happening.
Order placed 2nd December. Not even been dispatched yet, 4 working days later. Rang customer service number to check order status - automated system that says you've selected an invalid option whatever number you select. Something wrong here. Won't be ordering again.
Terrible customer service. They advertise products on their website as one price and when you come to check out the price changes. They won't honour the price advertised. Thats false advertising in my book. Customer services couldn't give a toss. Won't order anything from them again. Terrible company
The current dispatch of good is 7-9 days. At no point was this stated when I ordered the item. For your awareness Barbour hold your funds for this period.
I do not usually do reviews but after reading some reviews I’ve got to say that my experience was a great 1. The order went through great, my size was in stock, I got an immediate order number. I was kept up to date on dispatch it arrived 2 days earlier than expected and the coat was a really good size, it came up big for a size 14 and the belt was adjustable which is a brilliant idea. I got a discount on the coat to which was even better. I got the beige long ladies fur hood collar jacket and it is a lovely jacket but if your a size 12-14 like me then a 14 does come up big, so if you want fitted and don’t wear thick jumpers I would get the 12. A good experience and would 100% use again 👍
We ordered a wax jacket for a birthday gift well before the date required last month. We are still waiting. Barbour delivery drive stated it had been delivered and handed to the residents of the address. My wife and I were in all day. Nothing was handed to us or left on our premises. We contacted Barbour customer service on 28th November, who told us to contact the delivery company. We are still waiting on Barbour and the delivery company to get back to us. I am hoping that Barbour read this review and get back to us very very soon. I’ll keep readers advised of any progress.
Absolutely hopeless from what I thought was a respectable company. I ordered 2 shirts, nothing heard for a week. Tried to phone - endlessly on hold. Sent an email - nothing. Bordering on criminal, avoid at all costs.
dreadful returns process I ordered a jumper for my husband but the color was nothing like what I had seen online it was called fog it must have been polluted fog because it was light beige. The online form for returns didn't recognise my order number so I Called them on 2 separate occasions, Michael from cutomer services needs to read his job title he said he would send send a return postage label and on the second time of phoning said one had just been sent, must have been lost in the ether. After a further call I was told that they had no record of a label being sent to us and she would do it straight away which she did. Time is precious and Barbour wasted mine because the returns process is so poor, I will not order from them again
Well I was shocked at the large% of bad reviews on this company. I ordered 2 items 1 of which has fallen from the radar, the other I am still awaiting for delivery. However the web site for foot wear sizes are very limited in choice and really quite basic on all aspects. Thinking perhaps trading on the name forgotten about Quality and customer service.
I have the Barbour International Duke Wax Jacket. It has a dreadful new plastic inner-lining which is torture. It's literally unwearable, as after only 10 minutes wear I am dripping in sweat, like a marathon runner! While Barbour say they can change the sleeves, (at extra cost to me), they can't change the same plastic inner-lining front or back, which is just as drenching around my chest and back. Shirts remain damp long after I take it off too, then I become cold and clammy. I'm an average sweater so this is off-the-scale. I've never experienced this with any jacket before. Barbour don't seem at all bothered with this terrible design flaw. Third time trying to wear this in two years and I'm now done. I'll be selling mine on, I'll lucky if I get half of the price I paid, and there ends my lifetime relationship with Barbour.
Barbour Guildford I have never felt so upset and insulted. My own Mother overheard 2 members of staff making fun of me because I was questioning the process of lengthening sleeves on a wax jacket. I moved away to pick some of my shopping bags up and they obviously didn’t realise my Mother & Father were standing next to them trying items on whilst they mocked me. How dare any of your staff speak about customers in any negative way on the shop floor. My parents confronted their comments as they laughed and they tried to deny it. You lost over £300 of business today and I fully expect a phone call with an apology and full explanation regarding the comments made.
