After a few weeks I gave them a ring and from that call, it took less than a week to get approved for a six figure loan. Angie was great. She accommodated a last minute need to have someone come to my house to confirm my identity. All my questions were answered in a timely fashion. I will be using them again for my funding needs.

Nov 22,2024Do NOT do business with this company. Very shady and almost impossible to get ahold of someone after you sign. They have no website to check your balance or make a payment, everything has to go through email. I had to threaten to report them for wire fraud to get them to stop taking money from my account without permission. I cannot say loud enough to NOT do business with these unethical people.

Nov 22,2024I recently applied for a personal loan through BHG Financial. While the initial experience with the sales representative was positive, the process became frustrating later on. Despite providing all required documents promptly, my application was ultimately denied because a Green Card or U.S. Citizenship was required—information that was not disclosed during the pre-approval process or initial discussions. Even with a strong credit score of around 740 and a co-borrower, I was offered an interest rate of 21.45% for an 84-month term on a $187,000 loan, with a 5% origination fee. These terms were higher than I expected based on my credit profile and the market. I would encourage BHG Financial to improve transparency during the pre-approval process and provide more competitive terms for customers with strong credit. While the sales team was helpful at the start, the overall experience fell short of my expectations. Ended up getting loan from different lender with much better terms. Savings of 11k and around 13% interest rate.
