Dec 03,2014Totally impressed with this company. I needed a dvd player that worked on all foreign regions with different formats and could then convert the signal to a North American TV. Went with the 99 dollar Sony DVD player sold on Bombay's site. The shipping was very fast. I previously had to have a separate Pal NTSC converter. However, Bombay installed the converter right in the SonDVD player! It works great without the hassle of having to connect and turn on the converter for foreign DVDs.

Dec 02,2014We asked for a replacement remote control for our Orei Blue Ray player. We paid for one and then it arrived, on time. But… it did not work. We tried three sets of new batteries, but no luck. So we had to go and buy a Universal remote which worked with this blue ray player. But that didn't work either Sending both back and VERY disappointed. D & S

Nov 26,2014LG brand - model BP530. After figuring out the procedure to unlock Bluray region code, the machine worked flawlessly. I haven't tried the dvd all region yet but I'm sure it will work just fine. Great price and fast shipping. Would deal with anytime - thanks!!!

Nov 25,2014Worked out of the box on a Region 2 DVD. Seems like a pretty good value for $50, though the picture is not as crisp as our progressive scan Sony. As others have noted, the DVD drawer is noisy and seems fragile. Time will tell. I expect to use this unit solely for Non-Region 1 DVD playing and keep the Sony as the primary.

Nov 24,2014I ordered a region-free Samsung DVD player from Bombay. The price was great, service was prompt and accurate, and shipping was faster than I expected. The player arrived in apparently good condition. I ordered it for a birthday gift, so I don't know yet how well it works or how Bombay is to deal with in a problem situation, but so far, I am very pleased.

Nov 24,2014Years ago, I studied abroad in high school. I bought many region 2 dvds which I was forced to watch on my laptop once I returned to the states. I finally ordered a region-free DVD player and I can hardly believe how happy I was to once again watch my favorite concert dvd on a proper tv screen! I love my new player and it arrived very quickly! I will certainly return to bombay electronics if/when I need a new player!

There was a holiday in between that probably had something to do with it. Otherwise, very satisfied and would use again. Thanks!

Nov 13,2014I understand when on occasion a product may not function properly. The disappointing thing is that they will not send out a replacement until they have mailed me a shipping label and then have also received the faulty product by return mail. This is a $30 item not $300 so I really thought they would send out a replacement along with a label for return shipment. Oh well looks like it will be 3-4 weeks before I finally get what I ordered.
