The service from Bookprintinguk was head and shoulders above the others and that was the reason I went with them. This was all due to Natalie, who was incredibly helpful and approachable, especially for someone like me, a first time publisher. Can't praise her professional assistance highly enough. Product is great. Really happy.

Aug 02,2024I was a first time writing novice with an idea and a load of words written but no real idea at all on how to turn that into any kind of book. The team at BookPrinting UK, led by Caroline the personal Account Manager I was given, guided and advised me through all of this into an actual physical book. The end product looks and feels great and (without sounding too stupid) actually looks and feels just like a book you might pick up in a shop or library. I have shared with friends, family and all of them have without exception looked amazed as I handed them my book - and all of it made possible by the helpful team. I'm not sure I'll ever write anything else but if I did I wouldn't look at anybody else and would return to BookPrintingUK in a heartbeat. Oh - and very importantly - it cost a lot less than I thought it would.

Jul 31,2024They do not pressure you into the full marketing deal like all their rivals whereby the publisher/printer gets about 90% of the selling price. I would go as far to say that they were the only company who offered me a printing only deal at an affordable price. I would use them again without hesitation. Obviously you have to do the page formatting, proof reading etc. but this is no hardship and at the end of the day you get to keep the total sales price.

Jul 20,2024I used the on line format checker but it didn't highlight the problems. I re-edited and approved the book but it was printed wrong (pages out of order blank pages) I approved the next final draft on line but again the book was not printed as the approved version (page missing) I wasn't given a tracking order as by now I was right up to my deadline. I have heard nothing back asking g about delivery. And still no books.

Lost one star as the proof process reformated the .doc word document I sent through and meant the page count went down by 3 pages, and that had the effect of putting the illustrations and captions across pages and generally stuffed it all up and also removing spaces between LOTS of words running them together. BUT the staff sorted it and all came good in the final printing.... That's ultimately what proof copies are for.....
