Sep 16,2023We bought the 5m star bell tent, delivery was quick and the tent was very well packed. We took it for 4 nights as a test trip, perfect, and it's definately waterproof. There's plenty of space for me & my wife and our two young children, but I wouldn't want to go any smaller with the tent. Overall very pleased and we're looking forward to giving it a longer test next time.

I wanted something that would keep the evening chill out, well into autumn, it definitely does that. a quality product that is easy to assemble, light and control temperature, we also added the hot water tank which is a really handy unobtrusive add on. 5 star product.

We are very impressed with the quality of the tent having now used it for our first weekend away. It is very easy and quick to set up for a tent of this size. The ventilation is very good.

I did my comparisons on other sellers and this was the best deal on the net. Very happy it was not only a better deal but the item is very well made and looks like it will last me a very long time. Just need to test it out a bit more as only had one outing so far. Will be shopping here again.

Simply put I bought a bell tent for a studio use but unfortunately, the area in which i was meant to pitch fell through. Boutique camping were completely understanding and sent me a label to have it picked up. Unfortunately the wrong item was picked up from my house (a fault on my side) and they still were super helpful and compassionate and sent this item back and picked up the item that originally needed returning within a few days. I just feel bad they had to do all this but still in a situation which didnt benefit the company at all they showed manners, efficiency and professionalism. I will definately remember this company for next time.

Sep 10,2023Epic Tent! Beautiful Tent! Glamp wherever you go! I bought the 4m classic bell tent in Oxford Grey. This was a replacement for my previous 5m tent (same fabric and model) that I found a touch too big for the sites I was staying on and I didn't need the space. I missed it so much, I reinvested. The 5m tent came all the way to the Swiss Alps for a fortnight and was a joy for 2 of us with 2 double beds - the inner tent was divine (I will be buying one for the new tent soon). Now, I knew the tent would be great as my previous version was awesome and was actually sold to a charitable school for outdoor class space! They were also very pleased with the magnificent tent. The tent is super simple to pitch, which was a huge driver to buy it again in the smaller size. I pitched it alone in the pouring rain. I was in it, drinking tea within 15 minutes. It accommodated my large double height double airbed, a 2 seater chair, a compressor fridge, and coffee table. The dog was happy and didn't even try to escape, but I doubt he could. The groundsheet design means that the electric hook-up is easily accommodated. I tested it out on a fine-looking weekend in early September on the Penwith Headland not far from Land's End. Cue 45mph gusts of wind and a steady wind speed of 25 to 30mph for about 24 hours (force 8 gales just off the coast). Thank goodness for the extra strong pegs, which I re-anchored to 45 degrees as opposed to my haphazard rain-fuelled pitching. The wind made it noisy inside the tent (think sleeping inside a bass drum) and I felt seasick from the moving groundsheet, but the tent stayed true. I wonder if the traditional canvas fabric would be better in such high winds - maybe I need a windy places tent? The pouring rain was no issue for the tent either. The little windows provided enough ventilation when the sun did show itself. The cooler outdoor temperatures did mean some condensation (due to my choice of fabric) on a couple of nights, but I could have used my heater if I'd wanted to prevent this or dry the tent to take it down. Mind you in 45mph winds, the tent was bone dry anyway! I won't lie, I was really taken with the bell tent plus, but was longing to have my beautiful grey haven back. As it was the long and strong guy ropes were a great asset in fighting the tempest that descended on testing weekend. I should note that I needn't have worried about the tent blowing away in the wind when I took it down in said windy conditions. The weight of the tent and leaving the guy ropes in place made it fairly straightforward. I had pitched the 5m version in windy conditions, which was not much fun, but better than trying to get a tunnel tent or similar upright. I did manage to break one of those super duper pegs with my vigorous wind proofing, but it wasn't a problem due to the lovely bag of spares supplied with the tent. Boutique Camping really do supply a generous amount of spares and the bag for this tent was much better than my previous tent, which makes getting it back in a pleasure. There is only one negative I can find... I was a bit sad that my new mallet isn't as pretty as the old one, but really it is a mallet and does exactly what it needs to do, which was good news given the weather conditions.

Sep 23,2023We purchased our tent last November and we have been overall pleased with it. It was easy to get up and roomy. However, when we bought it the rainfly was not available and on backorder. It is now 9 months later and it is still on not available and no one can say when it will be available. Having the tent with no rani fly is an issue. Getting through to customer service has been a challenge but once you get through they are very helpful. I can only give this 3 stars since I can't get what I need.
