I bought Shell energy broadband through broadbandgenie because I was promised a £130 amazon voucher which was the deciding factor in buying the contract with Shellenergy. After waiting the agreed period to receive I contacted broadband genie by e mail they apologised and told me they would rectify the situation. I waited about 2 months and unfortunately received nothing. I contacted broadbandgenie by e mail again, they once again apologised and told me not to worry I would receive my amazon voucher for £130 that was 2 months ago. I have still not received it. Is this a marketing scam? who is to blame, broadbandgenie or shellenergy broadband? I have this morning, received my amazon voucher for which I am very grateful. Thank you to Broadband genie and Shellenergy for a swift resolution. I am very happy
I used them to find a new internet supplier, it found a good deal with the bonus of getting a gift card for amazon worth £85 I was a bit sceptical that it would work, it did say it might take 120 days to come through. About this long to verify, but it has just appeared in my email and I’ve just added it onto my amazon account. So all good, and would recommend, just be patient!!

Can end up as a long and tedious process when things go wrong! In my case my ISP (Vodafone) refused to acknowledge existence of offer with respect to BBG -so voucher was rejected (I had waited over 120 days stated in T & C’s) at this point. Up to this date 28/04/23 they still have not confirmed a valid sale with BBG – which means BBG have not received their commission for the sale. BBG customer support - excellent at resolving the problem. (Special thanks to Rachel at BBG who was always helpful and supportive during this process and went beyond the T & C's of the offer on my behalf). My advice to anyone taking up such offers is. Ensure offer is tracked correctly after sale is confirmed with ISP. Do not delete the confirmation email from BBG until you receive your selected voucher. Do not accept – “can’t help you further” comments from your ISP customer support (Vodafone in my case) if you are certain you have fulfilled all the T & C’s Date of sale 21/10/22 Voucher received 25/04/23
