Purchased the Air to Oil cooler system for my 04 Excursion 6.0. Product is very good. EOT stays well below ECT. Sometimes by 8 degrees. Also very good customer service. Called to make sure of how to prime system after install. Very good step by step over the phone.
I have oil cooler and egr cooler. So far so good at 15,000 miles on them. I trust that both will work out alright. As other OEM parts fail, I will likely replace with Bullet Proof. Bullet Proof tee shirts should be 100% cotton and heavier. Probably O.K. for Arizona heat, but not for cooler climates.
Great products but poor service. Was charged 3 times on my credit card for my order which was $1,100 so they charged $3,300. Took 3 days to come off which in the mean time froze the card because now its maxed out. Talked to several people about a military discount for the customer. They said they only offer the discount for active service members, not retired. One salesman said if I can get someone active to send an email they will give the discount (didn't have to be who was buying the products). Okay, so I do that to jump through their hoop and then he tells me he can't do it. So again, great products but the service is sub par.
Great system that eliminates any chances of overheating your engine. Well thought out.Straight forward Installation. Any mechanic that can change an oil cooler can install this system. If I had another Powerstroke it would have this system on it also.
A bit on the expensive side, but definitely high quality parts. A lot of this stuff is just hype!

Nov 14,20182006 F350 CC Dually FX4 with a BPD oil cooler, EGR, and 6-phase FICM. Parts installed years ago, way out of warranty. Well about 30 miles from home, stopped at a red light, truck/engine shook, and engine died. Edge showed zero FICM output volts, input OK. No injector buzz, just cranks, no start, which would be expected with 0V FICM. I had heard/read that BPD has great customer service, and that is no lie! My FICM I think was 5 or 6 years old. I decided to email BPD, and see if they could help on costs of repairs, split it with me, if they couldn't, no problem, I didn't expect them to do anything since FICM was so old, and out of warranty. They didn't have to do anything, and I would be fine with that, as I love their products. Well I was wrong! Spoke to BPD on a Monday AM, instructed to ship to them, with prepaid postage back to me, and they would repair for free! Shipped on Monday for Wednesday delivery. I called Wednesday afternoon to see if they received the FICM. They informed me they did, and were just going to call me so I could pay for shipping back to me. They got FICM on that Wednesday, fixed, and shipped back to me that Wednesday afternoon! They even put on a billet top cover, at no charge! I got it back on that Friday! Not even down for a week! Unheard of these days such awesome customer service! THANKS BPD! Other companies should learn from you guys!
