Apr 28,2019Great service. There was a problem with the delivery date due to a shipment going missing. Buxton kept me informed throughout and gave me the option of a refund or to wait for the delayed item. I chose the latter and true to form it was delivered on the day they said.

Apr 12,2019My telephone query with Buxtons about S&J Straight Slasher was dealt with promptly and to my satisfaction. Following this call I immediately ordered, and it was delivered next day. I was advised by email what time of expected delivery and by which company. Everything went as planned and husband very happy with product. Highly recommend this company.

I do right of way clearance and install fire brakes around pole structures throughout the Pacific Northwest here in the states and a lot of specialty clothing is not available here. I have ordered from another big named retailer in The Kingdom but waited a month and or not had product show up at all and then had trouble getting a refund. With Buxtons it is obvious no matter where you live or how far, the most important customer is you! Thank you for keeping us safe in Oregon!

The only thing I'm not satisfied with is that, I placed a large order, one of the items was a pair of chainsaw boots which did not fit correctly so I rang and ordered a size larger and agreed the courier would pick up the pair to return and drop the bigger size off. I have been charged for this!!! Surely when spending hundreds of pounds this cost should be paid by the supplier not the customer!!!!

Feb 01,2019Hello, We recently dropped off our mcculloch chains which had the following issues 1,sticking throttle 2, non functional safty brake 3, weeping fuel cap After nearly 3 full weeks the saw has not been fixed or even been inspected and the relevant work and parts quoted for. This a slow poor level of service for such well known large establishment, completely wasted our time at a time of year we need to use the saw.

Jan 11,2019Overall I have had a positive experience dealing with Buxtons. Customer support is good and they have a well designed website with a good product range at reasonable prices. On the negative side I thought I had placed an online order via PayPal and after a week of it not arriving I investigated to find the order somehow was not processed. This may have been my fault, I honestly do not know what happened. I reordered on a Saturday, within the time shown on the onscreen countdown clock, and paid extra for DPD Next Day Delivery, expecting the order to arrive Monday. I rang to check Monday to be told the order had not been processed and would be delivered the following day (Tuesday). So I needn't have bothered to pay extra for Next Day as I needed the items for that Monday and didn't get them in time. So the on screen clock countdown was a little misleading. Seems Buxtons close mid day on a Saturday and if you order too late they are not processed until the following Monday.
