Jun 12,2021We went to look for a campervan and ended up ordering a Wildax Pulsar. The service was excellent from start to finish. Martin was excellent and really picked up what was important to us. Picking it up today was a really good experience and we appreciated the wine and goodies. Would highly recommend.

Listened to every thing I said but also offered practical expert advice as a result I picked up exactly the camper I needed and wanted without paying for extras I would never use. And to top it off it was ready when they said it would be and built to very high standard. Well done and thank you Martin and the team. Highly recommend

They were so helpful with our buying experience and they gave us an excellent turn around time from purchase to collection was less than a week. We opted to buy one which had just came out the workshop, rather then wait for a bespoke conversion, so we could get it on the road soon as poss. after lockdown! This fantastic group of professionals did a bespoke van conversion for us then - and the workmanship and aesthetics of the conversion (both the van and the soft furnishings) were outstanding - real artistry in the finish. We've just been back to trade it in for a Wildax Solaris XL, as our needs have changed, and have had first class service from Martin Sheffield, who has looked after us from purchase to delivery and handover, keeping us informed of progress all the way. I would highly recommend this company.

Great service from Martin and even with some minor issues which are unavoidable he even went above my expectations to resolve. Couldn't recommend him and this company more based on my experience!

From the office manager to the electrician and the company owner, they were polite, helpful and so professional........they know vans! As a first time van owner it is so reassuring to have such a great local supportive service.

Oct 07,2020We recently had a Habitation Service and Gas Certification check done on our VW T5. We got a new leisure battery fitted as part of that process. All the work was done to a very professional standard and the very friendly staff were extremely knowledgeable about the electrical systems for the vehicle and gave us some valuable advice. They also gave us a new mains plug adapter and a new lockable water tank cap for no extra charge. I would highly recommend the workmanship and service of the team at Caledonian Campers. Steve Nelson

Aug 12,2020First class knowledge, service and workmanship! Their attention to detail and the quality of materials and fittings they use are superb. What John, Steven and the team don't know about camper conversions isn't worth knowing and their advice/suggestions are priceless. We are over the moon with our T5 conversion and although we had a minor fault with the interior lights, this was soon rectified quickly by their experienced team and at no extra charge! Honesty cannot recommend Caledonian Campers highly enough (& I have already to everyone who's admired our T5!) for their care and dedication given to our van. Oct 23,2019We chose Caledonian Campers out of 3 companies we visited because they provided the best quality campervan conversions at reasonable prices. The workmanship was of the highest quality and the designs were constantly being improved. The sales staff had good practical knowledge of using a campervan based on their personal experience. The team who carried out the conversions were highly skilled and took a pride in their work. What also impressed us was that the work was completed on time and a couple of glitches were dealt with and resolved quickly. Everyone worked together as a team, and the aftercare was also very good even though everyone was very busy. Needless to say we are very pleased with our new campervan and look forward to many years exploring Scotland in it.

Sep 20,2019We hired a VW camper from Caledonian Campers earlier this month for nearly 2 weeks. It was our first trip in a campervan and we loved it. The van was lovely, almost new and beautifully fitted out. I was surprised at the details such as a really good double hob and blackout curtains, and everything worked well. Everyone at Caledonian Campers were really helpful and we would definitely use them again.

Sep 19,2019I was in vacation in Scotland from Italy with my Volkswagen California T6. I had the sink tap that didn't work. At the volkswagen service center they suggested I go to Caledonian Campers to see if they could do anything. I went and John immediately sent a couple of people to solve the problem quickly. All this with a smile. They did it to me as a pleasure. Thanks again to John and his effective collaborators!

First time campervan purchase
Jun 13,2021We went for a browse after visiting Caledonian Campers website and ended up buying a Wildax Aurora Leisure XL. There was no saws pressure from Martin who talked us through the practicalities and all the mod cons within the van. A professional service from start to finish. The walk through video before delivery was very useful and will continue to be for many trips to come. Nice personal touches when collecting the van which we’re unexpected and most appreciated. We would definitely recommend Martin and the team at Caledonian Campers.
