Sep 26,2019Customer service has not been the same as it was when CSR that used to work at location on Eastern/Flamingo. Busy time when customers are purchasing money orders for rent or other Bill's, there's usually 1-2 ppl working and there's a line, frustrating

Sep 26,2019Usually this place is very good, but my last experience was poor. I arrived to pay my bills a half hour late, so it was going to be charged to my checking account. That was fine, I know I was late. I paid off the remaining balance. I needed money again for an emergency, and I could not borrow again til the payment cleared. It was Friday, I offered to pay the outstanding unrelated payment, and apply the pending payment to the new loan, but there was no way to do that. So for that I give the low rating.

Sep 26,2019Not only do I like the expression "welcome to check city we will be right with you"; but I really appreciated when they called me by name when they saw me coming in through the door and no customers were present. The staff was very friendly, very patient and took care of my needs professionally at all times. They were even helpful when it came to making recommendations on what loans that seemed to be better for my needs. Oh I almost forgot to mention, they always looked so nice. Thank you for being there when I needed you.

Sep 26,2019Check city has always been great as far as cashing checks when I don’t have time To wait the 24-48 hour bank clearance time. Their fees are low and customer Service is great. The only Thing I think that could be improved would be the wait time during creating an account and verifying a Check at least twice it has taken over an hour to cash a check. In comparison though if I’m Using city rather than my bank, I’d rather wait the hour then 24-48 hours so it’s not a horrible deal.
