Toilet seat stopped “soft closing”on Monday night, it wasn’t repairable and I couldn’t live with the sound of a slamming toilet lid every time someone used the bathroom! Found “Choice” toilet seat shop online, theirs was the best price, they delivered to Northern Ireland, (which is quite rare post Brexit) so I crossed my fingers and ordered. Ordered Wednesday 21st August, they sent it Royal Mail tracked and it arrived on Friday the 23rd, from mainland UK to Northern Ireland, amazing!! It was an original branded product and was unpacked and clicked in to place immediately and I am again appreciating the joyful silence of a soft close toilet seat. I am a very happy customer, excellent product, great price and excellent communication from them even though it was only a 3 day turnaround from order to receipt of goods.

One of the very few companies I could find still supplying the soft close mechanism for my Vitra toilet seat. Replacing the seat was going to cost £120, so these at around £25.00 was a no brainer. Others were asking far more money, so very happy to have sourced them at reasonable cost. All good. Delivery was reasonable too, although a bit delayed by courier.

The actual seat and lid were of good quality but the fittings were flimsy and the hold nut would not thread,I finally used my old fixings.

We were unsure if the fit and colour of the soft toilet seat & cover was right. Alex in the Technical sales team was so helpful, replying and sending photos in reply to all my questions & queries. Would definitely recommend from Alex’s customer service.
