Michael expertly dealt with the over 30 second delay I was experiencing between voice and screen, didn't labour the point when I suggested I understood and was happy to go back over items I was unclear or wanted more information about. Trucking along nicely
Sep 18,2024Our company was contacted from a cold call via our switchboard by a guy whom appeared to know the directors name and personal knew him. The directors asked whom the company was and about, the sales guy who thankfully mentioned his name, explained and was advised that not interested as we have cover, and asked to be taken of their data base. The guy disputed the request so was asked for Citation data officers detials so the request could be done formally, the sales guy ( whom earlier thankfully mentioned his name )said whatever and put the phone down. - Class Act :) Our director then called Citation and asked to speak with guy ( at this point we had his name as he said it originally ) and was kindly put through to him, obviously denied putting the phone done as was cut off..... however then was advised that it was his right to ask to be in contact with the data office to remove his details from their database. The Citation employee then repeatedly talked over him with the old spiel about all the companies require H&S and was just trying to do his job, then again was asked to remove his contact details and was again given the answer that he would contact the directors to ask them. Worryingly that the company whom wants to sell you a product regarding H&S, HR and don't understand GDPR Legislation. Never mind keep the faith :0)
