Sep 11,2024Matt Bushell from Citation visited us yesterday for our annual Health and Safety review which includes a walkaround of the building and warehouse space in our Essex HQ. Although we have a healthy and safe operation in our opinion, Matt challenges us to think out of the box and presents potential situations to really make us think. Our priority is to keep our staff out of harms way and make the workspace a pleasant experience on a day-to-day basis so the H&S visits from Citation help us to focus on all aspects of our business and we find them really helpful. Sep 10,2024Joanne a consultant for Citation attended for our annual health & safety site audit and was fantastic, helped with any queries, able to advise on improvement areas and super friendly throughout. She didn't make it feel daunting at all. Citation always provide 5* service in my experience, and Atlas is a gamechanger. Easy to track tasks, the risk assessment / method statement area is game changing, making RAMS / SSOW is now an easy straight forward task.

Sep 10,2024I use citation for HR advice and have done for many years. The advice itself is clear and they provide all of the relevant sample letters etc. I must say though, the level and speed of service has gone downhill massively. We used to get responses from advisors within an hour or two sometimes even quicker, sometimes we wait 2/3 business days for a response to something minor, I think it is the new queueing system as you used to have advisors direct email addresses but not anymore. If you chase over the phone you will NEVER get through to the advisor dealing with your case, they will always be 'unavailable' or on a call. Very frustrating when you need urgent advice and don't want to use a new advisor who is not familiar with the case. I also get different advice depending on the advisor, for example one advisor reviewed some minutes for me and told me we'd introduced a particular meeting wrong despite setting our meetings out in the exact same way for 10 years, never had that advice before.

Sep 10,2024We had a Health and Safety Consultant, Richard Pearce, attend our Residential Care Home today to undertake a Health and Safety inspection of our premises and documentation. We were instantly put at ease by Mr Pearce's friendly approach and we feel he was fair but thorough. Mr Pearce gave us guidance on how the process works and how we can improve going forward and we found his knowledge and professionalism second to none. All in all it was a positive experience.

Sep 10,2024Our business took out a two year Health & Safety and HR agreement but the H & S service has been particularly poor. Please beware if this company offer to do a Fire Risk Audit as they will try to fabricate things to make it appear your business has failings and shortfalls. They will then try to offer you their services to 'put things right'. I could not recommend then any less so PLEASE BEWARE

Sep 06,2024Awful company. Tried to cancel the service so it didn’t renew. They then refused and said they need 6 months notice. I had been trying to cancel it from the minute I got it. Absolutely useless and rude.

Sep 06,2024Had a terrible few years with Citation. Small phone call about health and safety, training, all the great things you want to hear. Signed up after call, after call, then more calls, can i get more customers on for them! Poor service after signing up. Terrible platform as the training covers hardly anything for us which they said it did, i had to buy standard training courses from other companies, ‘oh just copy and paste for your RAMS’ DIY basically. They sent an employee to a site, where she had never been on site (not her fault) so didn’t know much. The came along all the calls to get more accreditations, so many more problems but the biggest one, i asked to stop direct debits because the business hit rock bottom from a client going bust. They never called, never emailed, so cancelled 4 months later, tried to resolve the issue but they shut my account down and now they have sent a letter for £12,600 threatening court.

Sep 11,2024Take ages to respond to requests despite chasing up. On another point they basically make it impossible for you to move someone on. They make you take so many steps and consultations (way more than is legally required) so it's hardly surprising they offer to cover your legal costs if an employee take you to court.
