Jan 23,2022Hi, I have only started going on day trips with Cocky Guides in the last year so far the trips I have gone on i.e. the lavender farm and the cruise on the harbour and other ones earlier in the year I have found the staff and people to be very friendly very inviting to join in with them this is something I have missed out on for a long time and I am happy to have joined in. I am hoping to go on more , trips with you .

Jan 16,2022I had a great afternoon with Dutchy and Cocky Guides to Grazeland in Melbourne. We ate until we dropped! We all had a great sensory experience with plenty of food and laughs. What would have been a complex experience on my own, having support made my day and the tour worthwhile. I hope to go on another tour soon. Thank you Cocky Guides for being so accomodating

Dec 20,2021Had a fantastic day out with this tours as it is very interesting, fun trip that I learned a lot about the garden at Mt Wilson and lavender farm at Little Hartley. I give this fantastic tours 10/10 and very friendly tour with Auslan Interpreter on board. Will be definitely coming back for more fun adventure with you guys ! Thank you for having us and it was pleasure to meet you & others on this tour trip

Oct 25,2021The Cocky Guides Oktoberfest sensory experience was fantastic! I learnt a lot about the Hahndorf area and the origins of the Oktoberfest customs. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Mar 30,2021Once again Buck and his team have provided a fun and exciting tour for blind and vision impaired travellers. The Tall Ships trip had plenty of time to sit on the deck and chat, the opportunity to help release the sail and for the brave few, a climb up the mast. Sydney Harbour provided a perfect background for the afternoon. I highly recommend Cocky Guide Tours

Mar 21,2021Arrived at Sydney and was met by Kellie (cocky guide) tour leader where our adventure began. Met Buck tour operator owner at sunny coast airport and started our journey to Fraser. We were well looked by cocky guide staff the whole time there, the resort excellent as was the adventure on the Island, from swimming in lakes and creeks to spotting wild life, taking off and landing on a 5 seater plane, sunset cocktails, what more xan i say except thank you Cocky guides i certainly had a blast, i highly recommend this adventure to Fraser island,,, thanks again

Buck and Team really cares about their clients and do whatever they can to accomodate your request/s(where possible). Oct 05,2020We went to Mt. Wilson and Bilpin day trip with Buck and Georgia (Auslan interpreter) It was great to be able to understand everything As I am oral deaf. They explain everything and we got plenty of new information about history of Blue Mountains. Proper Social Distances was followed in the bus with green dots on seats. Water bottles were offered and we were offered hot tea and biscuits on arriving at Garden in Mt Wilson Its beautiful with lovely colourful blooms and again we’re informed about its heritage We also went to see the bush ravaged by fires and it was shocking to see it. We had delicious lunch at HillyBilly Cider Shed which was very interesting in itself. Every good day has to end so it was time to say good bye to our guide and Interpreter I am so grateful to Buck James for helping me with my plants purchased from garden nursery and drop them off at my house. Thank you so much for your wonderful help. I am looking forward to getting on another outing with this amazing duo. Well done 👍

Oct 05,2020I enjoyed a fantastic AUSLAN centred tour to Mt Wilson & Bilpin with Cocky Guides. Buck is a down to Earth tour guide & thoroughly researches the areas he passes through. He carefully balances days that arm tourists with fascinating background knowledge & allows people to properly take in sights, instead of rushing them through token tours, merely touching destinations. On this particular tour, Buck worked very intentionally & considerately with the amazing Auslan interpreter, Georgia, who clearly communicated the feelings & perspectives of all present. One of Buck's main motivations is that anybody should be able to tour independently, including the deaf & those with low vision. He is reflective & seeks feedback to build tours that empower all people to truly enjoy the vast beauty within Australia. The integrity behind such a goal adds tremendously to the value of a wonderful day out. Cannot recommend enough. A+++++++

Sep 07,2020The experience at lighting ridge was exciting and I would never have thought in a lifetime I would go into a opal mine and learning about black and red opals. Such lovely people out there , nice warm hot springs and Mudgee was such a lovely place.

Feb 18,2022As a vision impaired person in 2020 in October I found cocky guides purely by accident since then I’ve had just the most wonderful time, and also met the most wonderful people. The staff of cocky guides male and female and the director of the group Buck have been such wonderful people with lots of empathy and caring. I never put a foot wrong with laughter and jokes and happiness on every trip we make with them. I wish I could go on every cocky Guide tour. I have had some wonderful times with them and hope will continue to do also. Good on you cocky guys you’ve made my life worth living and have met some great people in the process. I hope you continue to make great success towards the year 2022 I’m sure you will everything you do is a winner well done Buck well done Buck staff good on you cocky guides
