Sep 25,2019As an Occupational Therapist I was curious to see how this trip would be tailored to meet the needs of V.I.Ps. I was extremely impressed with the way that Buck oriented people to places, described landscapes, and objects of interest, tailored activities to be sensory explorations and mapped out routes that were guide dog friendly. Buck is passionate about travel and is a wealth of knowledge! I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and will definitely be recommending it to my participant's and my colleagues. Thanks for an awesome time in Port Douglas!

Sep 12,2019Throughly enjoyed a visit to the Guide Dogs Training Centre with Cocky Guides. On our bus there were 6 guide dogs and 13 people. Buck gave everyone his attention and any assistance when required. Would recommend a trip with Cocky Guides.

Jul 31,2019I went on the late July sensory short break to Port Douglas, along with a ssmall group of other adventurers. Thanks to Buck, I was able to meet the challenges of navigating independently between my solo hotel room to and from the hotel reception and restaurant where breakfast and some other meals were served. I had a very full long weekend and would encourage others on this trip to take the plunge in Mossman River, to lash out on the hot air ballooning option - it was a VERY early morning but it really was worth every cent and second of lost sleep. Buck carefully selected the activities and managed the group dynamics brilliantly. I would highly recommend Cocky Guides tours to other blind and low-vision people looking to stretch their boundaries or just those just looking for a brilliant experience outside their everyday life.

Jul 07,2019we travelled from Sydney to Canberra and the snowy Mountains with cocky guides. What a fantastic experience! We were well supported by our tour guide and support worker. It was wonderful to travel with a group of people who are blind or vision in paired. We visited the Parliament house and war museum in Canberra, then had a day at the snow at charlottes pass. Having a supported travel experience really in Hants our enjoyment of travelling to interesting destinations. Cocky guides fulfils a gap in the area of vision impaired tourism in Australia. We really look forward to travelling with cocky guides again on other occasions.

Jul 05,2019Buck was excellent at managing our group of 14 and made sure everyone got to experience everything on the tour. His enthusiasm was contagious, his knowledge top notch and his ability to involve a group of vision impaired people and keep their attention for a full day was magnificent. I would definitely recommend his services and am keen to go on a tour in my own city, Melbourne.

Jun 09,2019What an amazing stress-free fun-filled experience. Buck our guide does it with such ease. Picked us up at the nominated place. Morning tea, a tactile tour of the set and props, lunch, the audio described play Barbara and the Camp Dogs, then talking point, 5 blind and vision impaired + 3 dog guides. Such a great day out. I will definitely enjoy other outings if this is anything to go by

May 29,2019Lucky enough to do a day trip to The Hunter Valley with Cocky Guides, there were 36 people on the bus and everyone of them had a great day. Well done to our driver "Buck" who is excellent in dealing with customers who have a disability such as low vision and blindness, Buck is very caring and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cocky Guides.
