I was surprised when I was found to have extreme sleep apnea but was referred to CPAP Victorias Berwick branch. They have helped me out in line with the recommendation of the doctor in getting a machine and mask that worked for me after 2 x 4 week trials.

The staff at CPAP Victoria East Geelong office, and specifically Janet, have been amazing. This was my first time getting a CPAP machine after being diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnoea. They taught me how to use the machine, how to trouble shoot and also trial a number of masks to see which was best.
Staff member Alyssa was excellent. She was able to answer all my questions and walk me through my options. It's nice to be able to walk in and talk with someone knowledgeable without having to make an appointment. I could have bought my machine cheaper elsewhere on line, but I preferred in person shopping.
CPAP Victoria offer an option across 4 weeks to try multiple face masks across different makes and models of CPAP machines. Using these machines is a new experience for most people, so working with a good consultant can be very helpful. Best of all, there is no pressure to buy anything. Tessa is an excellent consultant - highly knowledgeable, patient and professional. She took the time to understand the issue, sleep patterns and challenges before carefully trying masks for a good fit. At the end of the trial, when it looked like the sleep issue was going to be solved by other changes, she happily closed out with her best wishes and no pressure to buy anything. The trial is very affordable ($160 for 4 weeks including consultation) vs the cost of the machines ($1,800 to $2,100). So it is a great way to ensure you buy a machine and mask that you have tried and are comfortable with. They are very focused on ensuring their clients get the best. So they allow you to mix and match masks and machines from different manufacturers, which gives a lot more flexibility. Overall, CPAP Victoria are highly recommended.

The purpose of ringing a company is to actually speak to someone. This is exactly what happened at CPAP Victoria. And then to find someone who can help you out immediately is the cherry on top. Wonderful service.
I had a Fisher and Paykel Vitera mask which has a protruding plastic piece as part of the headwear. I managed to snap it off and went to my local CPAP shop to replace it. I was told that it was not economic to carry parts and I would have to buy a whole new mask! The piece I broke was worth a few dollars at best and I had to cough up $160.
