I was about to give up with Nikon and my D7500, we made the trip over to Dale Photographic and explained my situation, steven & Aaron were superb, even gave up their breakfast to sort my issue, within half an hour they sorted it. First class service, they now have a loyal customer. thank you lads. Andrew.

I sent Dale Photographic a quite lengthy enquiry asking specific things about the lens, and about faults I had found on another such lens recently - in order to be sure the one they were selling was ok. That message to them ended with 'there is only one month guarantee with it, so I do need the lens to be checked, or, if I buy it, I need to be sure you will restock and refund it if I find any of these issues'. I got a reply, it was short and sweet 'Thanks for your message. I have tested everything and all is fine'. When I received the lens, everything most certainly was not fine. The lens rocks on its mount when fixed to the camera. I was so concerned, I didn't even risk taking a photo, in case the electronics in the lens would cause damage to my D850. I reported the problem in detail, and was told to return the lens at my cost. I felt, as a faulty lens was sent to me, the costs were not my problem. I wrote and said 'As the return is based on a fault, rather than a fanciful decision not to keep it, I trust the return postage will in this case, also be refunded. I didn't expect to receive a faulty lens, especially after our emails last week. I am surprised you didn't spot this problem in your own testing'. Dale replied : 'It was clearly mentioned in previous emails that you would be responsible for the return postage so no we wont be refunding it just the purchase price of the lens. We have already paid £12 ourselves for DPD sending it to you'. After that nonsense, how many stars would YOU give them? Remember that this lens was confirmed as fine before I purchased it, and it only went back because it was faulty - the tilt action was very loose and would not hold position when you unlocked it. Two knobs are used for tilt, one to unlock, the other, to adjust the angle. With this one, the lens just drops when you unlock it, which means it is either very old and very heavily used, or, it is faulty. Either way it was not 'fine' and a return postage should have been refunded.

Ordered some Hasselblad equipment from this company as their website showed the items as 1-2 day delivery, so ordered next day delivery on my order. When the order was not shown as shipped I contacted via email only to be told they don't actually have the stock and have to order directly from Hasselblad who actually had NO stock at all. When I pulled them up on this the person got confrontational and didn't sound very nice at all (yes you Stephen) and instead of trying to help me out he cancelled ALL of my orders and said they "were not obliged to send me anything"!!! Totally unhappy with this company and will never order from them again, hope they like missing out on thousands of pounds of Hasselblad orders...

This was my first experience of ordering online for a product that needed to be exported out of the UK. Dale Photographic were very accommodating, especially when changing my order. Friendly and polite service with excellent communication throughout the whole process. Ordering, shipping to France and recieving a well packaged second hand product gave me confidence and a worry free experience. Will I do this again? for sure. Thank you.
