D’Angelico Guitars is an American musical instrument manufacturer and guitar brand based in Manhattan, New York.
Always great and rapid delivery from D’Angelico. Their quality in guitars and accessories is unmatched.
I made an online order over two weeks ago and still have not been updated/notified. The shipper hasn't even received a tracking number yet according to the tracking app that you're required to download. Have been waiting over 6 months for this product to be available/in-stock (Gold Skyscraper Truss rod cover). Frustrating experience.
Order was fulfilled and shipped very quickly! Great product!!
I made a simple order for a t-shirt from the website, and the company threw a few stickers and guitar picks in the package, to my surprise. Thanks, D'Angelico!
Exceptional guitars!
What a great 12-string. It plays well above its price point. Very smooth-playing neck and the grand auditorium body shape is very comfortable. Sounds great acoustically and plugged in. The on-board tuner is perfect and makes things much easier. Extremely solid and well-built. I bought the matching hard shell case separately.
I love this guitar. It has great tone that is so versatile depending on the pickup switch. You can go from ZZ Top to B.B. King and hit a lot of stops in between due to the smooth tone knobs with excellent variation. Besides the versatility, it is beautiful and I really like the Fiesta red color. I also much prefer the size of this guitar to the larger semi-hollow body styles. The D'Angelico strings that came on the guitar are wonderful. I didn't think I would be happy with them and would have to restring with my favorite DR Pure Blues. Not so, these strings are awesome. I am sold on D'Angelico guitars. I am so glad I took the chance on this little beauty.
The pick guard is very nice. it was delivered in a timely manner. I needed to move the forward mounting hole in the guitar. The guitar was an XL-1A. I added a magnetic pickup to the mix with the use of the purchased pick guard. it all turned out great. Thank you D'Angelico guitars for making this conversion / upgrade possible

I have never owned, let alone played a D'Angelico. However, I recently purchased a Premier Series DC Boardwalk Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with Seymour Duncan Humbuckers in Blue Burst and I absolutely love it! This guitar is gorgeous and plays fantastic. I am in a rock cover band and decided to set aside my SG and give it a try. It did not disappoint. It sounded and played great. I was concerned about it staying in tune as we were playing outside and it did awesome the entire four hours. I am sold....and see many more D'Angelico guitars in my future!
Great playing guitar I have been playing for over 50 years I own and have owned some classics and my opinion is that these guitars hold their own.
Great Guitars & Swag!
The Exel DC Mini I Purchased is everyting I expected, and more. The neck and playability is great! The Duncan "59 pickups and coiltaps on the tone controls, worked like a charm. However I have two things I must bring up.1.The guitar is headstock heavy! The tuning pegs of the Grover Imperials are too large and heavy for this guitar.Gold Grover Mini-Rotormatics with scaled down tuning pegs, would most likely solve the headstock dive problem.2.I wanted to buy the Blonde color Excel, but it came with a layered Spuce top?,instead of flame maple. Why the change? Flame maple would have looked so much better!
Had a few product questions which were answered promptly by email the next day. Also ordered a few T-Shirts that came quickly and are very nice quality! Rick
You didn’t send me what I ordered...
Love this shirt! Awesome design, it is comfortable and soft. Would recommend getting a size up.
Bought a new/clearance 175 that had no case. D'Angelico just released a limited run of new 175s and put up one for sale on their website. No retailers have them anymore. Fast service and no problems.

Apr 27,2021After almost three weeks of waiting on my order, and no contact from D'Angelico other than order confirmation, today I received two robotic "your order has been cancelled" emails. No mention of "sorry for the inconvenience", "your business is appreciated", or even "sorry, our supply chain is jacked by the pandemic and we ask for your patience". I realize the emails are automated. I also know such courteous statements can be programmed into automated messages. Such customer responses make me rethink continuing to wait on the D'Angelico guitar I've been waiting on for four months. If this reflects how emails are thought through I'm becoming concerned about the D'Angelico's ability to deliver the guitar I've been waiting on since January.
