When my time came for my appointment, I felt my provider actually listened to me. After 4 years of battling hormonal dysfunction and seeing several different types of medical professionals in 3 different states, this was the first time I felt like someone truly understood my issues and addressed them very thoroughly. She listened extremely well, answered every one of my many questions, gave me a straightforward treatment plan and offered me options to take charge of my care like none of my previous doctors/NPs ever have. For the first time in a very long time, I have hope my issues are actually going to be resolved. I’ll be recommending Defy to everyone I can!

For one I had a video conference and the provider didn’t make the meeting so then They rescheduled me with a teleconference and no one called me and when I called them to reschedule they told me I had to pay 125.00 again.

As great as the experience with Marissa was, I had the opposite experience with the Defymedical follow up to buy supplies. That experience was so frustrating. If it wasn't for Marissa being so awesome, I would be looking for a new provider...

Aug 24,2024The doctor had reviewed my intake paperwork, knew my history and all my health issues. She was able to speak to how hormones may help with certain symptoms - not just in relation to menopause, but also my other health issues. She, without prompting, asked if I wanted thyroid meds, which I've been trying to get a doctor to identify that my levels aren't optimum for the past 6 years. She offered me control over dosing levels based on my symptoms as we introduce new prescriptions. I wish all doctors would be this thorough and understanding. The issue that made it a 4 instead of a 5 wasn't related to the consult itself, but the follow-up prescription that was incorrectly called into my local pharmacy which required follow-up to get corrected.
